It's interesting how this BTS issue timing is so on point with their nearing upcoming IPO. And the fact that RM's speech was mistranslated and manipulated to make it in a bad light and then when it was revealed that it was mistranslated, it's already too late cos the hate already got out of hand. And mind you, the Speech was days ago but this issue popped up during this weekend while almost all ARMYs are busy streaming BTS concert. Seems like a planned attack to me. It is not the first time that China has politically intervened and hurt the Korean entertainment market. Each time Korean culture become popular in China, the government comes forward to produce rumors. The CCP also attacked TWICE, and not long ago, Korean singer Lee Hyo-ri was also attacked on irrational grounds. Hamasaki Ayumi one of Japan’s biggest pop stars literally headlined Tokyo gay pride for free and gave a speech about how being a minority does not make you lesser than in anyway and we should continue to fight for equality. That’s just one example. Not sure why you feel like you have to poorly attempt to bring Japan down to feel good about korean culture. China has an obsession with making others feel guilty of things that they didn't do anything wrong. And self victimization where clearly they are not the victims. To get political, China says they own Taiwan, Tibbet, arunachal pradesh (one state of India), Nepal and recently they invaded (or tried to) one of the north region of India And most importantly Hongkong. The thing about online concert is, the artists were not getting the rewards of the concert ; which is the satisfaction of meeting these thousands of people and feeling pump up or feed of from the energy of the audience in attendance. Thats why Jiminie cried hard on Day 1. I think, true artists always care about the performance and their fans. Money will always be the second agenda. Celebrities and pop stars have a small window where they can be on top and land giant brand deals. Ok according to research First of all China had supported North Korea against South Korea during Korea war.. China is a only country who supported North Korea.. The companies do not necessarily have to be at fault. Apple or Tesla, has to meet standards and regulations of other countries too when they are selling abroad. That's also applicable to Samsung and Fila. The government could have easily released a statement asking these companies to remove all their linkages to BTS. Since they are not China based companies, the government cannot ask them to terminate their contract with BTS or something.

Of course offline concert experience are incomparable from online, but from how I know BTS they will never settle for online concert if an offline one is available.
