Margaret Brennan *is* naive. She frames the issue as if the US has the correct (and only) position, and the only question is, does China uphold our party line? It's as if she's counting the US friends and enemies, and she's trying to put the Chinese ambassador on the spot to tell us whether he's for us or against us. There are other, better positions. I want to see the fewest deaths possible, with peace through negotiations. I'm glad to see Qin Gang is on my side. I wish my State Department was.

China and Russia share a very long border, they cannot afford hostilities, they can also not afford to undermine their diplomatic position with an empty gesture. So why force them? First step to be mediator is never give any weighting comments to any sides. One should be so calm and not even opinionate about whatever he thought. By doing this, both sides will trust that the one is going to listen 2 sides stories and mediate both sides interests. By pressuring China to pick a side and if China wrongly step into the trap, there won't be peace talks between Ukraine and Russia.. And I believe this is what the west want. And what was the answer she wanted? What she was pushing for was the Ambassador to clearly condemn Putins invasion and war crimes against innocent Ukrainians. Why was he being evasive about that? He says, "Hey, Xi told Putin to use diplomacy and negotiate for peace. And that's what Putin did. His emissaries sat down at the bargaining table four times since this began!" But he doesn't say that Putin was just going through the motions, does he? That Putin has no intention of negotiating for peace. He doesn't say that China and Russia have partnered up with big plans for the future as the "dynamic duo." Yet there is evidence that they have done exactly that and that China will NOT support Ukraine with anything but goody bags of basic supplies and bandages. The Ambassador is not as he appears, and the U.S. needs to get its head out of the sand: I recommend you delve into this situation more deeply by checking out this report: “Russia & China, Together at Last”: Historian Al McCoy Predicts Ukraine War to Birth New World Order - kzbin.info/www/bejne/e6vSpaKkosqHpJI

If the US truly wants China to play a role to stop the war, then please respect their positions and interests and let’s use diplomacy to solve the crisis instead of using aggressive language “join us in condemnation and sanctions, or you’ll be condemned and sanctioned!” I’m sorry, the world just doesn’t work that way, dear lady. There are many more countries representing 56% wolrd population that didn’t vote with the US and NATO allies. The US has launched economic war upon China for years and I don’t see China back down yet, so probably not working again this time when the US needs their help to stop the war and the economic crisis that’s happening in the world caused by the sanctions. I hate war and certainly dislike Putin but the US is nowhere near innocent in this war. I have faith in diplomacy, constructive dialogue but not in any more unilateralism and taking moral high grounds. Let some grownups talk please.

Yes, Margaret Brennan was rude, for she was just following the ways of the United States as a nation, in which at Daniel 7 in the Bible, it describes the United States as being derived from "a small horn" (that grew into a big "horn", see Dan 7:20) that was among the "ten horns" resulting from the dissolution of the Roman Empire (Dan 7:7), saying: "While I considered the horns (or political nations that grew out of Rome's collapse in 476 C.E.), look ! another horn, a small one (that became the United Kingdom, as a small and distant land that Rome had colonized in 44 C.E., but left in 410 C.E.), came up among them, and three of the first horns (Spain, France and the Netherlands) were plucked up from before it. And look ! there were eyes like human eyes in this horn (that became the United States, as Britain's "child"), and there was a mouth speaking arrogantly."(Dan 7:8) This arrogance that is so pronounced in the United States, will soon be gone, and so will the rest of the political system that has brought nothing but pain and misery to mankind. At Daniel 2, it says: "In the days of those kings (or when "the feet and toes of iron mixed with clay" is ruling [see Dan 2:33], the Anglo/American world power, with the United States taking center stage on the world scene) the God of heaven will set up a kingdom (or heavenly government, called God's Kingdom, see Matt 6:10) that will never be destroyed. And this kingdom will not be passed on to any other people. It will CRUSH and put an end to all these kingdoms (the entire political system), and it alone will stand forever, just as you saw that out of the mountain (or God's universal sovereignty) a stone (God's Kingdom) was cut not by hands (or through politics), and that it crushed the iron, the copper, the clay, the silver, and the gold (or the last five world powers that held sway over God's people, as represented by the metals and clay). The Grand God (whose name is Jehovah, see Isa 12:2, KJV) has made known to the king what will happen in the future. The dream is true, and its interpretation is trustworthy.”(Dan 2:44, 45)

Why 90% of foreign military bases are American? Do those bases actually represent US imperialism? There are over 5,000 US military bases total, with 750 bases overseas, in 80 countries and colonies, the US has more foreign military bases than any empire or country in world history. 'Forever chemicals' detected in water systems of 2,800 US cities. Growing concern over PFAS contamination and pressure on the Environmental Protection Agency to regulate the chemicals in drinking water. But we’re expected to believe China and Russia are the real threat for the world the US intends to defend the "rules-based order" that Russia and China are posing a challenge to.

He refuses to condemn Putin on behalf of China, and that is what she is trying to show you. This interview is what I would call: "Wild West vs. Wise East". "Tornado" vs. "Temperance". " Bam-wham vs. politeness". Chinese Ambassador handled this woman fantastically. It takes so much composure and patience to act this way towards someone so rude and someone so egotistical. But sadly, this is the nature of the U.S. media nowadays. They are not interested in true insight, they only want sensationalism and affect.
