I bought a tune up kit for my ride on mower and had the same experience. Had the package show up as a ball being only wrapped in plastic with no bubble wrap. The rectangle air filter was a ball, the fuel filter had one of the ends snapped off it renderinging it useless, the oil filter had a dent in it and one of the spark plugs was snapped. They tried the same thing, $5.00, then $10.00 till it was the last day that I could ask Ebay for a return so I overstepped the buyer and got Ebay to return all the money instead of them sending me the replacement parts (which was my main ask).. Could have worked out cheaper and better for their reviews to just send me replacements for the damaged parts..
