It's mainly because he speaks the language fluently (Chinese refer to that as "standard", which not even every Chinese able to do, depending on dialect used) and constantly tells people that he's been living inside the country for at least 5 full years by now. It would've been different if you were newcomer.

@@Walk_Africa I've meant that, when locals/nearby people hear him speak their language so fluently (nearly "academically", hence the "standard", as in - "by the China's education board's standard"), they immediately ease out very much, they relax, so they allow/tolerate being filmed on camera by some random person. It's not just Chinese people's thing, but just in general. Humans like having personal space and, preferably, anonymity as well, but they treat him as equal, when they hear him speak in "standard" Chinese, so they're "fine with" him filming them. It would've been much harder in any Muslim/Islamic countries or regions, because it's considered a punishable haram to film women/girls/any females on camera if there's no male persons (their brothers, husbands, or parents) present in the same shot with them, however. And, sometimes, some people just don't like being photographed/filmed on camera at all, period, regardless of your language knowledge, speech fluency, your background, good manners. It's understandable, given modern day tech and identity theft.

it defiitely looks like the attaction from opposition is very real in china. The girls in china looks to be very confident and that really surprised me. Confidence means they get attracted from guys that doesn't shy away more so, but of course it's different for everyone.
