Let a St. Louis Native shed some light. They city never saw Nelly as a gangsta. They saw him as a cool playa hustla type. The whole city, gangstas or not, respected his intense energy to shine. Now, though folks don't see Chingy as a gangsta, everybody knows that he's from the worst neighborhood and the worst treet in STL. But dude is soooo laidback and down to Earth.
