Next Rice how you make the Rice , You have to wash white rice 6 to 7 time and make sure to move it around while doing so do get the starch off , Brown Rice , Wash 4 times do the same step as the white rice but rinse and clean 4 times , now your already know what's next boil until done dont over cook it over cut the rice and it will be too sticky and mushy , put the rice in a mixing bowl break it up a lil not to much with a spatula , next 1 cup of diced cilantro if you really like cilantro 2 to your liking , next 1 cup of citrus juice which is 1 have of a lemon squeezed and 1 lime squeezed, next one spoon of salt to enhance the flavor not too much salt gotta be sea salt stir the rice up then enjoy

And you have the actual adobo recipe and cooking style on point man but you forgot one thing sprinkle sea salt on the chicken while it's on the grill it locks in the flavor , you could be a grill man lol I wouldn't wish that on any one that job there is very stressful and stayed extremely I hated washing the dishes and blanching , i was the blanch , marinate the meat grade the big blocks of cheese guy and was on the grill when it was stupid busy did everything, but you have the right recipe and perfect crust always let the chicken develop a crust and let the liquid under it turn dark brown before flipping that's were the flavors at , the juice the main part beside the crust , also I left the real corn recipe for you in the comment and also rice , now the hot salsa and medium salsa it come packaged and fresh every morning and queso and black bean and pinto bean is to they cut it open and pan em every day at 9 am , if you are trying to make the burrito use a fresh flour tortilla and the barbcoa and carnitas them recipes from there are still a secret

You said you like corn salsa. You can make an easy tasty corn mix on your Blackstone. I use a package of frozen corn, large chopped onion. Add spices you may like such as salt, pepper, cumin, garlic powder or even a dash of cayenne. Cook with a little oil. I use olive oil. While cooking on the Blackstone I put a bowl over the vegetables and squirt some water under it to steam them. Keep cooking the corn until it gets a little char on it. It is a fantastic addition for burrito bowls or fajitas.

Yeah, I've got some comments (14:30) ... He he ... Okay, I just got my Blackstone today, and I'm joining your Guy's Cult, okay!?!?!? I can't wait to get it cooking (maybe) this weekend. My family has to start eating at home more, because it just costs too much money to eat out for a family nowadays. So, thank you for sharing. Yeah, you're right about (13:20 - ish). I tried to duplicate CC copycat elseways, but I couldn't as well. So, maybe the searing & cast iron is the difference. Grilling isn't the same ... good but not same. Anyway, I plan to try this soon and let you know how it goes. Thanks for sharing your wisdom and keep these videos coming ...

Yeah, Chipotle used to be "kind" and load you up with chicken & extras, but now, they seem to charge for every single thing. Last time I went it, it was like $11.50 plus the tip, and they were seemingly moaning about how much I got the people to put on my bowl. So, I decided I'm just going to do it at home -- where I'm not held captive by the people working there who (most likely) are paid less per hour than I paid for my bowl.

What temp did you cook the thighs at. By the way, this was an awesome video. I just ordered a Blackstone griddle a few days ago and i want to make this.

Thanks alot. I had the blackstone on medium high and cook the thighs until an internal temp of 165 to 170. Thanks for checking it out.

@TheHollarBBQ How do you reheat the chicken after you have cooked it?
@TheHollarBBQ
@TheHollarBBQ 5 жыл бұрын
All depends. In a pinch I just microwave it. But what I like to do is vacuum pack it in what ever size serving you like and freeze it. Then when you want it just pull it out of the freezer, throw the whole pack in boiling water for maybe 5 to 10 minutes and cut it open. Will taste like the day you cooked it.

@@TheHollarBBQ My only thing Im wondering is I don't have a grill yet, just a cast iron skillet. You said thatd be good? Should I cook the chicken for the same time frame?
@TheHollarBBQ
@TheHollarBBQ 5 жыл бұрын
cast iron will work perfect. Cook it by temp and it will all be good.

170-175 ish. Remember you will have a little carry over when resting. Most of what I checked was close to 170. Good enough for me. Thanks for watching David.
