TIPS ABOUT CATS 1: the cat owns you 2:cats shed ALOT so have a good amount of hair collectors 3: all ways pet a cat like how the video tells you 4:some cats get mad when they see the bottom of the food bowl and refuse to eat because of it I recommend the auto feeder 5:cats like attention but don’t want it all the time like dogs and if you give them too much attention they might bite you 6:get scratching posts and toys for your cats if you don’t say hello to string town on your furniture 7: if you have a cat that hides from you never go and try and force it to you just let it warm up to you I know it might take time but trust me it works Ok well I’m out of things I can say and if anything please search up how to take care of a cat or get help from an experienced person ok, have a good day

I adopted a cat last year after having my dogs stolen. I was always a dog person who wasn't fond of cats.At the time I wanted a furry companion that was more independent and not as needy as dogs. A companion who would just kinda be there chilling and let me pet it at least once a day. Then I adopt Pixie (my cat) and holy shit.... I wasn't expecting a cat to be so chatty, constantly pull at my hand for attention when I'm sitting on a chair, and sleep right next to my face. I was expecting a teenager who would just do their own thing, not a needy and chatty cat. I love her though and she is the best thing that has happened to me last year ever since I lost my dogs.

I let the cat smell my fingers first, it usually automatically rub their cheek or neck at my hand, asking (allow you) for more rubbing/petting.

I just grab onto the scruff of its neck nice and hard and then pick it up and swing it around a little. Then I usually stick its head in my armpit because the darkness calms them down. Seriously it works every time, show it who is boss then calm it down. After that you just feed it and take it back to your house and put a new collar on it. Congratulations you now own a cat.

They also have very sensitive nerve endings on their back by their tail, only certain cat's like being petted there. If you pet your cat there and they sort of wig out or start making weird faces then don't pet them there because they can barely stand it. Not all cats though some like it. Never pet their stomachs unless you know they like it either. It really all depends on the cat.
