you can chew sugar free gum instead. do about 1hour of chewing per day whether its with gum or just food (chew each bite 20-30 times)

True. Maxilla gets overlooked in Mewing community and people focus too much on Jaw and chin. Maxilla is the region which changes to most from Mewing and is most important

@@user-xc9sz4fc7h . that is because most of those people don't understand the basic components of Skull that is responsible for looks . Maxilla is a very big most crucial part of Skull as it literally makes up most of your mid face and connects and effects with lower jaw , zygos aka cheek bones , your lower eye orbits (under eye support ) and even some joints under your eye orbit . Lol Astro had a major maxilla expansion in the course of ten months , judging form his previous 10 month old video where his face was a little longer and narrower the amount of change he had since is just crazy ridiculous as though he had a orthodontic surgery for a more compact face . I think mewing has phases and a proper mewing process would be upper maxilla expansion , moved forward and upward and as a result your lower jaw goes upswing and forward or readjust according to the maxilla positioning and i say this based on observation astro sky facial development from mewing as he had an overbite and took him a long time for his lower jaw to come forward and more up wards . So in conclusion Proper mewing well give more result with the maxilla first and then lower jaw secondwhich people tend to always have connection of lower jaw with mewing in their mind without understanding how it really works lol. Sorry for my long comment
