I just had left wrist Carpel Tunnel Syndrome surgery along with Left elbow cubital surgery. The CTS are 30% left, and 30% right wrist.

My left shoulder seems to only hurt when I try to sleep,I can't sleep on my right side due to my tinitus..I never seem to get a good night sleep

Have also had carpal tunnel surgery on dominant hand which was supposed to be also been checked for Ulnar /Median neuropathy in my elbow which was not checked during surgery. The Va plastics surgeon said he didnt do that and wasnt needed. But now hand is worsened and rt elbow warrants a replacement.

Can the other shoulder be secondary condition to opposite shoulder that's service connected??

I have been on commissary working parties on a carrier. This last from 4 to 6 hours. I issues with my neck, shoulders and lower back. I have been denied by the VA. I never after active duty been in a auto accident, fall, or trauma. I have given up in fighting the VA. I suffer pains every day and I feel I taking my gun to my head to stop my pains.

I am serviced connected for both shoulders at 20% each. My right side is dominant, shoulder my right shoulder be rated at 30

I’ve had 2 surgeries on the same shoulder . Torn labrum and ladder j surgery I’m hoping I’m eligible for disability right now I have no range of motion . I think I should be compensated for my shoulder especially seeing that Ive had 2 surgeries in the SAME shoulder because the first one was unsuccessful

I've had complete shoulder replacement and filed for VA compensation. They denied service connection. I served in the Air Force for 30 years. I was in the Gulf War, Kuwait, and Afghanistan as a Jet engine Mechanic. What more can one do to get Service Connection?

Why does myDD 214 not say I was on TDY Udorntani airbase/north Thailand-/Guarm TDYall 4 of us bases that sent me there?

All 4 of my dd214’s only show the bases that sent me there VA has classified me as a Korean vet as I enlisted and was not drafted! VA has advised me to enter a claim! I had 40 radiation treatments for prostrate cancer which led to my Colitis(lower intestine)I must and have been wearing a baby type pull-up for several years! Urinary track infection get up when in bed 2 times a night. Torn rotor cuff it’s a problem to lift a forty pound bag of wood pellets.Ihave a steel plate in my RT leg ,a titanium rt hip joint ,3 herniated discs lower back. Numbness arms and legs,I walk my dog 100 yds and look for a rock to sit on before going back to house!.

I have a scheduled appointment with local VA office.my wife just died July 27,2024 she is in the new vet cemetery in Springvale ,Maine with Dementia /she did not suffer thank God! We traveled the world together for 68 years W/ 3 sons thank you USAF!!!

What about an Elbow replacement on my dominant arm. Receiving only 20% currently and now va wants to an elbow replacement? Should I enter a claim for an increase or a new claim

What if your dominant shoulder is not service connected but now your dominant shoulder is giving you trouble from years of compensating for the non dominant shoulder could that be a secondary claim

Good info, thank you. I think arm disabilities are "underrated". I have bilateral elbow pain and stiffness, along with forearm and bicep pain... probably associated to some MUCMI. 🤷‍♂️

Well I had a c&p done the examiner said the she felt the shoulder injuries were more likely than not related to over use injuries from military service. They still denied my claim. Any suggestions?

When doing Range of motion tests. Do I say stop when pain starts, OR when Pain is unbearable. ? Because as soon as I start to lift my arm I have pain. But I can lift my arm 40 digress.

@@kelvinfoye4728 Thanks, I watched a video from Combat Craig, he had a doctor going thru the DBQ. That doctor said "Disability begins when the pain starts." That statement will change my range of motion limits. With zero quilt.

@@schven0112 yes. II had my C&P yesterday abs i did my research. On shoulder and ankle Range of motion as I'm sure you know is the key.
