I have been having the same issues with hair thinning/hair loss (and constant fatigue) and I just had my ferritin levels checked, too. Mine’s at 15, so hearing that you were able to raise your levels gives me hope for mine!!! Love your videos ♥️

I really sincerely appreciate you being honest about your hair loss over the past few months because I am around the same age and have been experiencing it as well for the past 8-10 months! I’m sure you’ve gotten your testosterone levels checked, but if not I would suggest that because that ended up being the issue for me. I’ve started a medication which I think has helped. Just wanted to put that out there! 💓

Also check if you have female pattern balding :) It’s what I have and there are meds for it to get it to grow back. But only if you treat it early. Mines grown back :) Some doctors are so quick to incorrectly put it down to stress or iron- so get a second or even third opinion from a specialist!

Look forward to following your journey. Single mama who does not want to stay where she is living...and has been living so I can retire with a pension...did NOT make sense to buy a home here. I’m so glad you’ve talked about your ferritin and b-12. I actually have the same problem. I never had to actually get the iron iv’s, but they were worried I would. I do have to get monthly b-12 shots and I’m only 24! I have never found anyone besides my Aunt with the same problem(s) and it’s nice to relate. Thank you for being so real!

My goal was to buy a home before I was 30, and I did it! I just bought my home in July and wow it's very true so many expenses just from closing costs, property taxes etc, but so worth it!

It really is crazy how different lives can be. I'm also 22, raised and still live in Houston, TX with my parents. Senior in college and never been on a date or even kissed a guy lol. Super weird. I always feel like I missed out on when I was supposed to grow up. I've never traveled, I read books for fun and I barely do anything. I feel 15 in a 22 year old body. Super behind but scared of being an adult. It gives me a lot of anxiety currently. Oh well, taking it day by day.

I also have low ferritin. My hair started falling out ~3 years ago and still is. The iron supplements never worked for me either. I took every form of iron and I think because they are the synthetic form your body has a higher time absorbing it. But I recently found these supplements called Ancestral Supplements. Their grass fed spleen and liver have heme iron which is more easily absorbable. I haven't been taking them for very long but I'm optimistic. I'm glad your numbers increased so much! Thank you for sharing your experience with iron transfusions I will have to look into that.

I would recommend looking into your copper levels. Often tests show low iron but it’s actually a copper issue that has to do with the absorption of iron. The Ancestral supplements are awesome, I have taken their grass fed beef liver pills and they have so many benefits! Good luck!
