Good evening Tammy and Chris. I don't think I have ever had a chocolate banana putting her pie, and I love them both. Worth trying. Our store here in Minnesota sells us a special dark Hershey's cocoa in the baking aisle, next to the regular Hershey's cocoa. Cocoa. Listen to you say use less for light but then I thought of our store that has the special dark cocoa. Just thought I'd share that with you. Thank you for sharing this. ☺️👍👍💜🩷

My grandmother was always making things with chocolate. She put chocolate chips in her chess pie - man, that was good! - and she sometimes made her banana pudding with chocolate, too. Oh how I miss sitting in her kitchen on that bar stool watching her make the most wonderful dinners and desserts!! I'm glad to know we're not the only ones making chocolate banana pudding! Yummy!

Holy cannoli, that looks amazing. I wish there was a way to keep bananas 🍌 from turning brown. Made a blueberry yum last week, it was sooo good but after a couple days bananas not so appealing. Making 🍓 strawberry dumplings for tonight, wish me 🤞 luck 😳!

Lately I've started peeling the bananas when I think they are just right for baking then place them in a Ziploc bag in the freezer. Then I can get what I need without them over browning. So far this method seems to work well.😊🎉

Oh my goodness Tammy that looks delicious! I use your method to cook pudding and it is so easy! I do have a question though, when I made tapioca pudding in the microwave it boiled over, why would that be different? I even used my 8 cup Pyrex measuring bowl. Thank you for any advice you can give me.

I think it matters how tall the bowl is. Maybe tapioca boils higher.
