This chocolate cake recipe is just so good I had to share. It's moist, decadent and just one bite will have you wanting more (trust me). I've made some chocolate cakes in the past which would either be dry or dense, but this, let me tell you, it was just perfect. Just the right kind of flavor and it reminded of the moist cakes they would sell back in the islands at the bakeries. Hope you all enjoy!
Ingredients
1 1/2 cup milk + 1 teaspoon vinegar
1 1/3 cup hot coffee (2 teaspoon instant coffee)
3 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
3/4 cup coconut oil (or vegetable/canola oil)
4 eggs (room temp)
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup greek yogurt (optional)
Icing (all room temp)
1 block of cream cheese
1 1/2 cup butter (3 sticks)
2 1/2 cup icing sugar
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
3 tablespoon milk
