Chocolate Chip Muffins | One Pot Chef

My fabulous Chocolate Chip Muffins are easy to make and guaranteed to please! Flour, sugar and choc chips are combined with egg, vanilla, butter and buttermilk to make the perfect muffin batter. Lovingly baked, these muffins are golden and crisp on the outside and soft and moist on the inside - give it a go! :)
Ingredients:
2 Cups of Self Raising Flour
1 Cup of Caster Sugar (Super Fine White Sugar)
200g of Good Quality Chocolate Chips
1 Cup of Buttermilk
80g of Butter (melted)
1 Egg
1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
Preparation Time: About 10 minutes
Baking Time: About 20 minutes

Buttermilk is pretty much nonexistant where i live, i always get bummed when i see it being used on recipes cus of that. So the moment you offered a substitute my heart bloody melted, keep up the amazing videos man! Ill be sure to make my own disco muffins as soon as possible!

You can make buttermilk by mixing milk with lemon juice or vinegar and just letting it sit for a minute

I made these yesterday. Absolutely delicious. My son Steve says the best muffins I've baked to date. And they were as you say, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. We have a bottle of your salted caramel recipe in our fridge. Now he wants to warm up some caramel in the micro and put a muffin on top. Dear lord, sugar rush delight!
