Chocolate Doughnuts (Baked) with matcha and chocolate glaze

Chocolate cake doughnuts that are baked in the oven! plus two easy glazes made from simple and basic ingredients.
note: These cake doughnuts are baked in a smaller doughnut pan. While I won't call them mini sized, they are a bit smaller than typical doughnuts. A standard doughnut pan results in 3 3/4 inch doughnuts. The one seen in the video makes doughnuts that are 3 inches wide. If you are using a standard sized pan, I would recommend baking about 3mins longer. Stick cake tester (or skewer) in and if it comes out clean, it is done.
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 302F (155C)
2. Grease your doughnut pan by brushing it with oil.
3. Melt the chocolate in the microwave at 30s intervals or over a double boiler.
4. In a mixing bowl, add oil and sugar. mix with a whisk until it's combined.
5. Add the eggs. Mix until it's combined.
6. Add the melted chocolate. Mix until it's combined.
7. Add in all the dry ingredients (flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt). Mix until it is combined. The batter will be slightly thick.
8. Transfer the batter into the doughnut pan. Don't fill it up all the way! Fill each cavity about 80% full as it expands when baked.
9. Bake at 302F (150C) for 15 minutes.
10. Let the doughnuts cool in the pan for 5 mins then transfer it to a wire rack to fully cool.
11. Make the glazes.
For the chocolate glaze: combine icing sugar, cocoa, milk and vanilla in a bowl. Mix until it comes together.
For the matcha glaze: combine icing sugar, matcha powder and milk. Mix until it's combined and makes a glaze.
note 1:
If you think the glaze is too thin: add more icing sugar to thicken the glaze
If you think the glaze is too thick: add more milk to thin out the glaze
note 2:
the amount listed in the recipe card makes enough glaze for 6 doughnuts. If you wish to make enough for 12 doughnuts, simply double the recipe.
12. Dip the donuts in the glaze.
