I 💯 agree with Crum coat being a must. Working as a cake decorator at Walmart I can't tell you how many people I had to train that just didn't do Crum coats and it's always a mess. Just because it comes from Walmart doesn't mean it should look like crap. I've retired since having my second kid but plan on starting a home business once my youngest goes to kindergarten and am currently practicing techniques now and love watching your videos. Keep up the great work!

I’ve worked at a much faster place and a crumb coat is not necessary if you know what your doing. There’s more in-depth decorators on yt w/shorts shows way more

I can’t explain it but I always love the way that you say “hey friends” at the beginning of each video. It’s just gives a different vibe compared to many other channels. Not that there is anything wrong with a lot of channels that choose to narrate in an exaggerated/loud/hyper manner but it’s nice to see channels that don’t shout or over exaggerate. You cut them more like a square or rectangle cake, cut small tall slices, and then cut the layers in half once you slice through it.

You can’t add filling to the top - it wouldn’t stay! Filling is only between the layers. Like a sandwich :)

Thank you! I tried twice filling cupcakes with ganache but I guess it was too thick because it hardened inside the cupcakes. I will try making it thinner with a lower ratio of chocolate to cream, like 1:1.
