Some of them! If you need to apply pressure to the frosting e.g. stencils you'll need to use a frosting that gets firm when it sets e.g. buttercream

What are baking strips?

They're thick strips of fabric that don't burn in the oven. You can buy them from cake decorating shops or make your own by soaking old towels in water, squeezing out the excess and then wrapping in aluminium foil and wrapping around your pans. They make the cakes bake more slowly and evenly and with flat tops!

Thank you for some really clever tips. I like that I can use my microwave turn table. I don't have a lot of spare room for multiple accessories.
