Reaper is BROKEN in Top 500
This is just a video showing some Overwatch 2 Top 500 Gameplay where I play Reaper and a bit of bastion. I am currently a top 500 Reaper player in EU. So this video is just some Overwatch 2 top 500 gameplay.
Both games were really fun to play but the last game was so sad. I hate it when the game ends like that but IT IS WHAT IT IS. I'm gonna start playing flanking reaper a little bit more but I feel like frontline reaper is more fun. We'll see though.
Overwatch 2 Top 500 wasn't that hard to hit but I have been playing since Overwatch 1. I did start on xbox and switched to PC but altogether I have around 1800 hours and 800 of them have been on Reaper.
Reaper is the reason why I got out of gold/plat hell as you can kinda 1vs5 with him due to his lifesteal. It does get harder obviously the higher you go up but if I can get top 500 anybody can because I'm not the greatest player ever. I legit play like a plat but what I do differently is I try to play with my tank most of the time or I do the funny and get a 5 man or die instantly.
Sadly I don't have the codes for these games.

As a reaper main, you should always take your chance to kill orisa. Reaper hard counters damn near every tank in the game because his shotguns shred health bars and with such a huge hitbox you can guarantee damn near every bullet hits making his life steal extremely helpful. Not to mention tanks aren't very good at putting out huge amounts of damage at once like DPS are, tanks like ball, orisa, and Winston all have fast ticks and fire rates but do very little damage meaning reaper can easily shred them and heal through their attacks. Even tanks like Reinhardt is countered by reaper because he can mid range you and since rein has such a large hit box shotgun spread isn't bad and if they do choose to get close you will need a pocket to make sure he doesn't tear you apart before your slow swings can kill him especially since he can't take a few more swings than his health is worth due to life steal. So basically if you have a big hitbox reaper shreds your health, if you have a low damage tick or damage output reaper will heal through it and kill you, if you get baited by wraith reaper easily takes you out or if he just counters with wraith in general, reaper is especially good on orisa because once again she has a small DPS output, huge hit box, zero movement capable of getting her away, and he out heals her damage. The only chance orosa has is fortify but then reaper can wraith and wait it out then kill you or if he's already shredded you he can just keep shooting and go for the kill. Reaper>80% of tanks in the game.

Sometimes I wish they reversed dvas boost and dm cool downs give her boost a resource meter and dm a set use and cool down. I think that's how dm was back in the day

Overall you are a lot better than I am at reaper, only criticism I can make is that your aim is a bit shaky at times which can result in you killing someone a bit too late or just straight up missing out on a kill. It’s not a big criticism but it can result in you having to use a cooldown or disengage early to avoid dying

You can do really well and still lose. It all depends on the matchmaking and how good you and your teammates play. You can try solo carry but most of the time that’s impossible
