I tried your bature recipe today. I must say it was AMAZING! I did surprise myself. I previously have tried preparing bature's but it always proved to be a disappointment. your recipe was God sent. I like the way you keep things simple and the way you explain step by step. I am yet to try more of your recipes. Thank you for helping me be a more confident cook. A shout out all the way from Kenya.

Oh thanks so much. One more question , if I prepare the dough one night before will it go bad in the morning. ? I want to prepare it in the night and use it tomorrow morning , will it be ok?

@@shagungupta9673 cover it with a Muslin cloth / thin cotton cloth / in a closed container, so no cracks at top are formed, and in morning before making bhatura, keep the dough out at room temp atleast 30 mins before, they would puff up and be even better after this long duration

I tried this recipe yesterday. The dough was not that soft and when I was rolling bhatura it was regaining it's shape like elastic... I found it hard in rolling..I followed the recipe exactly.. what could be the reason?
@GurusCooking3 жыл бұрын
@@pratibhamakkar6038 it means dough did not ferment well, it should be soft and elastic, try using active dry yeast instead of baking powder, add active dry yeast to Luke warm water, water should have a TSP of sugar well mixed, Luke warm not hot water, now add yeast to water n wait 2 mins bubbles lil ones appear, means yeast is working, if no bubbles yeast is bad quality throw it, try again with new quality yeast, if bubbles = yes, then add to maida & knead well, cover dough with damp cloth & keep at room temp for 3-4 hrs or more & now roll n deep fry
