sir plz tell me why only acetylcholine is released as primary neurotransmitter from both sympathetic and parasympathetic system.. why not other neurotransmitter is released as primary one

Babita Jain Along with acetylcholine a few more cotransmitters also get released. And this is primary neurotransmitter because choline is its precursor and choline is found in many tissues. (*As per my Knowledge)

I have a question sir In which part do cholinergic drugs will work in cholinergic neurones.As it clear that they mimic the ACh . Does they directly bind to cholinergic receptor or they help in the formation of ACh.

They can either directly act on cholinergic receptors (known as cholinergic agonists) or inhibit destruction of ACh by inhibiting Cholinesterase ( known as anticholinesterases).
