I have a fun idea for a challenge. Could y’all please catch eight Pokemon of your choice that all have random abilities. Both of you also get to pick out the move sets after catching the Pokemon. Once you both acquire teams, read off each of your team members’ Pokedex entries. If the one being read to correctly identifies a Pokemon entry, he gets the option to force a trade without knowing the moveset of the identified Pokemon. The player who gets the identity correct is also able to pick out a custom ability for the traded Pokemon. Sabotaging some of your own team members is legal. Let’s say that the two leftover Pokemon with easy Pokédex entries are physical attackers like Machamp. You can rigg the entire moveset to be special or support moves. The Pokemon can’t be pseudo legends, legends, paradox, ultra beast, mythical or, starters to make it a bit more challenging.

I love that Revelation Dance is just better Tera Blast. Tera Blast is only better on physical attackers because it changes based on the highest of the 2 attacking stats when you tera, but Revelation Dance is 10 base power stronger and always STAB. I love Oricorio, man!

I would love to see a version of this where the lie is an actual option... if your starters are Giratina, Metagross, Oricorio, and Groudon and you pick Groudon, you GET Groudon and your opponent picks the ability. I think it would add another mind game level - is the good mon ACTUALLY a good mon, or am i baiting you into a good mon so i can give it a bad ability?

You could add in another twist like this video where you can add a lie so you can bait them into trying to counter you, but then instead you can pick for them

For a new challenge: Rock, Paper, Scissors but you send out either a Rock, Grass, or Steel. Whoever wins chooses the pokemon for the opponent and chooses their own (all random abilities if that happens). If its a tie, both players choose their own pokemon but keep their regular ability

You guys should play go fish. Essentially, let's say you had a palkia, metagross, and an unknown on screen. You could ask if the other player had a psychic type during any of the rounds(like if the opponent got a gallade in the previous round due to its fighting type or if theres a psychic on screen). If so, you have to trade and the opponent has to take the unknown. If not, then you have to take the unknown.

Battle Concept: Similar to the STABmons meta in pokemon showdown, each pokemon can use any move in the game that shares the same type as the user for example sticky web scizor, last respects dragapult, astral barrage giratina and one of my fav victory dance great tusk. There is no limit on how many of these moves you can have, obviously dual types offer illegal move from two type categories so are nearly always better than solo typing
