@@Echiewel yeah he's a physical attacker and his main move being Sacred Fire with 50% chance to burn is a 100 power 95% accuracy move not to mention he gets Brave Bird both being STAB, he could also learn Earthquake for coverage and Roost to be annoying and having Huge Power and then maybe putting a choice band instead of having roost woud've been hilarious.

The dealer should always go until they beat the player or bust. There's no point in the dealer staying if they have 17 and the player has 20 for example. So the dealer will draw since they can still win if they get a four.

Then create three teams and play a best of 3. You can decide which Pokémon go to which team. Do you spread them out or power stack them and try to win in 2. As for abilities you can come up with an awesome idea.

This is some weird casino version where Dealer is on autopilot. They have to hit if they are 16 or under and have to stand if they are 17 or higher. I saw it on Google while trying to look up the actual rules of Blackjack, but seems like corporations have completely corrupted what Google thinks Blackjack is. 🤦‍♀ I'd like to see someone go back in time and tell this version of the game to anyone from the last few centuries hahaha.

I want to call this idea for a battle... ABILITY ROULETTE: RULE SET: 1) You are each given 3 randomized starters for the 6 rounds. Your opponent will name the pokemon from left to right... 1-2-3 in orderly fashion. 2) Use a spin wheel numbered 1-2-3 to randomly select a pokemon, the one selected you give it an ability it's type is weak to. If it's a dual-type, spin the wheel again... If it's (1)primary type... (2)secondary. 3) If you solely choose your pokemon, your opponent chooses the ability for that round. *NO HELD ITEMS* *LEGENDARY ABILITIES ARE ON THE TABLE* *ABILITIES ARE DUPLICATABLE*

Shady normally i would be right there with you, my favorite Gen is Gen 5, and would love to see all that content updated and maybe even expanded upon....but, after BDSP being a travesty of a remake (it's more of a remaster even since it doesn't even have mons past Gen 4) and the fact that they are known for dropping content. i would not be able to take it if they dropped the entirety of BW2. BW2 was a massive step up but they wouldn't be able to make that without BW1 since the story wouldn't make sense. They're known for fucking it all up massively and with Gen 5 it has the most to lose. Not to mention content that would need remade from the ground up. Then you have Festival Plaza which is a remade Join Avenue, however it's worse than Join Avenue. and then Poke Pelago being kind of a remake of the DW and not being as good as that, we already have precedence for them screwing it all up. i don't want them going near Gen 5 with a remake. A legends game might be good and that's good enough.

I have an idea for a card based challenge. You each draw 3 cards, the cards corresponding to their respective number in the pokedex, first card you draw will represent the hundreds, so if you draw a 3 first card the pokemon will be in the 300's. 2nd card will determine the tens so a 7 would mean it would be in 370's and the 3rd card represents the final number. Kings/queens and jacks are 0 and aces are a 1 or 11 so if drawn first turn you can get a pokemon in the 1100's. If a 10 is drawn in a position where it would create a pokedex entry that does not exist you draw again. And for fun, leave the joker in, if you draw the joker you can choose to change any one card into a card of your choice, on either your's or the opponents turn. You each do this 6 times until you have a full team.

Did Pat actually go against the book in the last round? It seems to me that the odds were definitely in his favor to pick. He had a 9 and 4, which is 13. He needs 8 or under to not go over, and the odds of getting 8 or under is higher then getting 9 or over. And while in some cases not drawing again may have been preferable, shady had a 2 and a mystery card. The chances that the mystery card is 9 or under is higher than the chances of it being 10, so it's more likely that he got a total of 3 to 11 over him getting a 12, which was the highest possibility(technically 13 with an Ace, but that can be reduced depending on the 3rd card). So it's most likely impossible for him to go over 21 with the mandatory 3rd card. BUT, even if he did defy the odds and pull a 10, he would've faced the same odds again, where pulling Ace to 3 would mean a fourth card, 4 to 9 (the most likely scenario) would mean it's the last card but he's safe, and only 10 taking him over. So he definitely wasn't in a position where he was more likely to bust than usual. So yes, Pat ABSOLUTELY should have picked a card, and I don't understand how the book says otherwise.
