Just such a very beautiful production. The colours, tones, blends of sounds and shapes, all capture the beauty and serenity of this setting/location and the people, animals, and plants inhabiting it! Much like a painting by Julia. I so love this whole series of shows/programs. Anastasia, Julia, and their mum are exceptional individuals and very much part of this setting/environment. I can’t imagine its existence without them, yet I know it would go on without them. This program and these amazing individuals are causing this old bloke to become philosophical. 😳🧐🤗😝Finally, I just wanted to inform Julia that I especially love watching her create a major work of art - from the mixing of the colours, to the application of the brush on canvas, blending of the colours on the canvas, the whole process. Always enjoy seeing Julia work on her art, especially the large canvases. I highly admire her technique of painting on a warm-colored ground with flowing brushstrokes. She also has a highly developed sense of the push and pull between warm and cool colors. Anyway, glad you did another video featuring this subject.

Dear Julia. I love the way you paint your sister, Anastasia. I am always fascinated by the process of painting your pictures, from the wash, to adding the basic detail, then filling in the colour and defining Anastasia's features, before filling in the background. In my youth, I tried many times to paint, but never could make it look convincing. I did a number of pencil portraits of my friends, but found it unrewarding, so gave up trying. Sometimes, you just have to accept you don't have a talent for something and stop, before it destroys your self-confidence. I have other talents I'm very comfortable with, so they compensate for my lack of artistic talent. Once again, Mother has done a beautiful job of filming both of you, as you go about your lives. I think it's truly Amazing that you take such pride in producing your own food. I rate self sufficiency as one of the top most valued traits on earth. Those veggie tacos looked quite tasty yet simple to prepare. Each time I see you Anastasia and Julia, I can't help but admire both of you're obvious beauty and intellect. I've grown to love the drone shots that show a familiar landmark mountain on the horizon with a distinctive profile, but I remain curious about the bird that sounds like a cross between a Star Wars lazer and some avian avatar of the rainforest: it has a disntctive, piercing cry.
