Luxury, Sporty, Muscle, Euro, Rally, I think those are really the options to consider when choosing a style and color. I personally think that black is played out and chrome. But when it comes to the new smoked chrome that is a whole new finish that looks really good. It’s not exactly chrome or black either. Especially when it has a bronze barrel or accents.

Tinted gloss black will look great on the S3. The black finish matches well with your black color and the lighter greyish finish on the face of the wheels is light enough to tie back in any chrome you may have on the car, and still be sporty.

a white mustang with black accents is honestly like a blank canvas--you can do pretty much ANY color you want. So this goes back to the question I mentioned in the video--are you going for sporty or classy? depending on which route you want to take, that'll help narrow down your color options. you can't really go wrong with any color on your wheels because of the white and black. thanks for watching!

Thanks for the reply. The blacks rims were powder coated a low-gloss black and look nice. I don't want the high gloss as I think it's too flashy. And I don't like the flat look. I was thinking a low-gloss dark blue, like sapphire. I thought about leaving the machined-black rims alone and saving money. But it seems everyone has those styled rims these days.

@@AStanton1966 A satin black is a safe bet if you don't want high gloss or a completely matte look. I also suggest looking into a dark matte/satin bronze if you want something that's edgier.

Thank you for the added suggestion. If I didn't have one set of black rims already, I would of gotten them powder-coated black yesterday. The only thing I did decide to do is get a set of wheel locks to protect them. The wheels, I believe, are $600 a piece new from Ford.
