Love my Weber Kettle, so versatile and so many accessories that can go with it (I cant recommend highly enough, though pricey, the rotisserie). Amazing steaks, pulled beef and pork, slow cooked chops and snags! I also recommend having a look at the Natural Smoke range of woods for smoking, the Bourbon Barrel adds an amazing flavour, particularly chicken.

I love my WSM! It also seem like the Weber briquettes are designed for the perfect temperature to smoke at. For searing steak, the lump charcoal is definitely hotter and a better proposition. Just blooody expensive! For wood, pecan and hickory. Cherry for a nice smoke ring. 👍🏻 Lastly, for the best results, I follow your instructions. You introduced my family to shotgun shells. Top favourite for parties with the family.

Perfect timing for this video! I have a bronco drum that’s pretty greased up internally and causing flare ups and putting dirty smoke on my meats. Can I use a steel wool brush on the inside of the drum, like you showed for the grate?

Hi Aaron I have 3 Webber kettles and made some changes to 1 of them and it's sort of a drum smoker I done this 10yrs ago. But you are the cheapest way to learn smoking/slow and low is a Webber. I have several different smokers that I made myself. Most of these stuff I picked up of the street on hard rubbish day

I started with my inlaws old Webber, and did a whole bunch of cooks on that. I even built a cart for it to give myself some bench space around the Webber and a cupboard for storing heatbeads, smoking wood, etc. I've since upgraded to a drum, and my Webber these days is permanently set up with the kettle cone for chicken wings.

@ interesting mate. So question then if right now I have a Weber Q, Weber kettle and Gozney Arc what if any bbq would you be looking at next that’ll offer a new / better experience that also doesn’t take up massive amounts of room like an offset would? (Only have a small patio / usable bbq area)

I agree with you re the less flavour in the pellet smoker. I have a pellet tube and fill it up and add it to the smoker. Or I use my wood chip box.

@@maryfrancis3 I finally gave up on my offset earlier this year and bought the new Traeger Ironwood XL. I use Lumber Jack Smoking Pellets (Supreme or competition blend) and I believe they make all the difference, and the results are amazing, The difference in taste between the offset and the Traeger is VERY little (most family & friends prefer the Traeger). I found the overall build quality of the new Traeger's to be noticeably better than the Camp Chef, , however a friend who went with the Camp Chef is very happy with it and achieve similar results.
