Probably one of the most accurate drum sound recreations you've made! Listened front to back on headphones and it's really, really close! Super clean performance as always too! 🥁 Toxicity had, imo, one of the most well executed 2000's fashion dry and saturated mixes. Obviously little to no reverb used on drums, generally, and mostly close-mics to maximize the definition and punch...and to compete in the loudness war which at the time probably reached its peak.

What kills me is all the shallow bs around that song. I was awake the morning it all went down the world was awoken to buildings falling and being shown what it do out there. I'll tell you this is the one angle I have never found on the net back in the day about the world event and this song. Let's start with languages and history and entomology(I think)...AngloSaxons.....Anglo...Angli...Angel....Angels..English.....the west... So a few books about the history of English language amd it's family tree coupled with world history all the subjects and historical stuff SOAD is into along with serj actual schooling and trade as a software engineer or some stuff.....deep breath here cuz it's just seeing the information as it is...now this is an old subject and inhave been living life all these years in life not on the net(anymore...well kinda cuz I'm back lol).... Blahblah Blahblah blah..when angels deserve to die(wow I got sick of people talking shit). Anuways!!!.... I'll be he meant this again using history and all this... When angels deserve to die all he was saying is that when a culture comes up with a religion it's people need to make sure their people are the only ones dying not others....it's not a song of anything fucked up. They didn't know much of anything before it happend other than the fact that if your educated you could.see it happens anywhere anytime...but for real he said angels in a very very very old way he meant "the west:/"whites"/"britons"/ANGLOsaxons!!! Need to die for their own shit not others. Sorry to come off as overly serious I just feel with my age what I have beared witness to in life amd how lucky I am to be here I'd share a slice of sanity and the responsibility of a parent and point that out. Every one need to chill out and love self first so you can love others. We ain't perfect but the less we run from ourselfs the easier others can be understood. I know art is to be interpreted, but that is to diminish instinct, history and actions speak louder than words...I'd say he is a very almost hyper educated human that knew exactly what he was saying and if you are educated or well traveled you cam see as plane as day what he means and the weak veil of "artistic interpretation " goes out the window. Again coming from a place of love and if anyone has break downs of lyrics and I missed one about my theory being pretty on point please let me know as I don't troll the net looking at too much past educating myself and music and videogames. Again just a guess and I wanna ask the world at large what you think as it's a powerful song and has alot going on is sound and rytm. Thanks and be safe all.
