she is a master in the interpretation of all classical pieces in my opinion.. I swear she could even be possessed by each of the composers when ever she plays their pieces.. You are an amazing pianist!!!!
@samynohff8 жыл бұрын
I personally believe that she must be possessed by two (I'm positively sure .!), Rachmaninoff & Liszt.

I honestly thought she couldnt pull this piece off, given I had seen her play really fast and virtuosic before. However this truly captures the somber nature of the piece. I love it! I feel embarrassed that I felt otherwise

In the top 3 pianist of this genre...she is ... absolutely prestigious technique...she pockets most..trills, rubatos, and accuracy with fast fast temp she is the best..also strong controlled emotion is her aura ...a great smile ..I also think there is this competitiveness about her....these are my opinions of Valintina Lisitsa.

These compositions, this avant style, the works of cage, schoenberg, boulez, etc. They did what musicians had been struggling to do for centuries, in that they completely abolished all set constructs of what could be considered music. Now, we, the generation of musicians that survived this, can use whatever style we want to compose. That in itself makes those men geniuses.

I like to think that, we will have a great composer, or many like that in our time. In that, we will get passed the super-dissonant (but still charming!) ways of fennesey and others, and learn to cultivate both modernism and romanticism in our compositions. It may be a few years, but I think that we shall have some great composers in our time.

Sorry, I'm a spanish speaker and I don't know how to translate it exactly. Anyway, it would be when some basses are shifted backwards in tempo, so the bass actually sounds before the corresponding note in the singing line. I like this resource, but I think it is rather overused here...it kind of annoy me a little bit :)

Dear Val ,, I used to have a Library of your magnificent works, starting from your incredible Rachmaninoff's Etude Tableaux #6 Op 39 ( Little Red riding Hood), this was my first time to know you (it was almost a shock to me to see a teen playing such a difficult piece with this incredible brilliancy), and from there on, I started to follow you, in every work you'd uploaded on KZbin, recorded all your interviews and any news I could get, so that I became almost Obsessed by you ,, Of course I have a library of piano works for most of the great works by the greatest pianists of the twentieth Centaury ( of course as much as I could collect),, But you.. Your collection to me is the most precious one (I made three Back-up copies of it, for fearing of losing it by mistake), and by the way I sent you many comments, on several occasions (but unfortunately I didn't get any response from your side - I'm not offended, because I know you're heavily loaded with hundreds of comments and messages from fans daily), but after all I'm very glad that you're still with us, and uploading every now and then some of your treasures ... Thank you Val, for being with us always, and thank you for your generosity and kindness.
