Does the corn silage under the tarps smell like the silage in the old wooden silos attached to the barn? I always loved that at my grandfathers farm. Great memories climbing up there stomping around to pack it and then removing doors to fork the silage out.

You guys are lucky 4th BBC cutting? My brothers Dairy farm in central Massachusetts didn't get squat for 2nd cutting, no corn failed from lack of rain and no pumkins. He,s having the worst yr ever, loses his finger in a log splitter, the last 3 wks twice a tree falls and rips power lines from house, the 2nd time was from sr8 line winds took down tree that damage top of his wood boiler and crashed the cab on his 4030.yea it,s been a bad yr.
