Sweet axes, nice splittin technique, but a toddler could split most of that straight grain wood. Try some seasoned locust some time.

Buckin, when I was in my late teens I started power lifting and gained 20 lbs of muscle in a year. I used to tell my WWII grandfather about it and he wasn’t impressed. He worked on a rigging gang for Mobil Oil in Buffalo. He always said why don’t you put a pick axe or shovel in your hand? Then I joined the Marines and got disciplined and humbled. It wasn’t until watching your videos that I learned Grandpa, God rest his soul, was right. When you called logging and splitting “outdoor exercise” you were totally right. Ten good swings of a splitting axe, or cutting a tree down, or using a maul and you’re not only winded your upper musculature is taxed. So, last week I saw a cop I know who must be cycling roids because even his orbital ridges looked too proud. Didn’t hardly recognize him. He tried to convince me to get back in the gym. I gave him the same advice you gave me: pick up axe and start splitting lumber… he wasn’t too amused. Meanwhile, I’ve lost 20 lbs of fat and started getting back some definition at age 56. The Buckin fitness program. Works as advertised. Dan

It'll make your back, core, heart, legs, butt, wrists, hands and forearms strong. The only problem with it in the current image culture is that it doesn't make big biceps. Fairly sure there's lots of people who would take biceps over my first list, but I never heard anyone talk about a spry 80 year old guy who gets up and down and around easy because he has big biceps. Keeping flexibility, dexterity, leg and core strength sure will help that, though.

Why would you leave??? Why would you leave?? When you can just freak out for a minute and blast through 7-8 more rounds??? Why not? O’ big narley piece that I almost forgot!!! Grab the big girl and just destroy it!!! Hey friends ...why not??? You are definitely extending your life span by doing your log splitting days! You can be in better shape in your 60’s than you were in your 40’s if you continue to work your body and mind!!! 😂👍😎🤙. Nothing but Love and Respect!!! Thanks for pounding the message of kindness into the world around you! Slowly but surely as your positive vibe has been broadcast throughout your community and you’ve energized the smaller channel fella’s around you to continue to help spread your message of Kindness ... and carry the torch!!! it’s just been amazing to watch them grow and to embrace your concept of kindness. I’ve watched an entire group of guys spring up over these past few years that are willing and excited to teach everything they know to a beginner! They are answering younger guys questions about chainsaws ... trying to explain and expose the riddle of porting chainsaw’s and timing numbers are shared completely!!! Harvey took the heat for telling the secrets and I watched Kensie jump up in conversation and say “Hey...that’s my friend so don’t disrespect him!!!” Now Mr.Bell is really showing a quickly growing group of guys his secrets and the ins and outs... TinMan create’s an amazing cut-away chainsaw engine to teach even us guys who need the hands on type approach to learning .., with a visual explanation of what is happening and how we can make some changes to improve it! You even have Nick Pixel teaching us the video production techniques and the digital side stuff!!! It is just a really beautiful time to be alive and get to see all you great people all working together and collaborating on making awesome videos and content!!! Grateful Dave!!!!😂👍
