Depression is a monster that can suck the life right out of a person. I've been through that whole not wanting to even get out of bed time. It was awful. No energy to even eat or shower or talk to anyone. There is help and good medicine that does help alot. It took me trying several different antidepressants to find the right one. I'm glad I kept trying because once I found the right meds for me, I felt so much better in a matter of weeks. Help is out there.

I have PTSD and I drank alcohol to forget all the pain, I don't drink anymore and take medication to help me with my PTSD. Been in recovery for many years now.

Part of the problem with Healing PTSD is that we live in a society where you can be traumatized instantly, even after years of self-healing, then you're back to square one. Fortunately I live alone and in an area where I can do the one thing that has helped me the most over the years, spend time out in the woods alone just hiking, or sitting by a stream when it's warm enough, nature is healing, cities are inhumane.

Somebody should help her get a place. She is just 6 credits short of getting an associates degree. That is just 2 classes if I'm not mistaken. Getting her degree may not mean any thing in terms of getting a good job, but the discipline that it will take to finish might give her the motivation to improve her life and escape drugs. She likes to read novels a lot. She has a scary novel virus... LOL

You're right. A lot of stuff said in this video. Many things she said, just sent my mind spinning. Ex she says, you'd cant imagine some of the things I've been thru. You reply, ..... (she replies, no you cant.) I other words, unimaginable. I keep trying to remember some phrase about how you measure a society by how they treat ppl at the bottom. The other day after asking some 'why' questions on here, I spent like a day and half googling. Find a great article by a Sociologist. Yeah, a lot of money is being throw at the problem, but little reaches the level that you are revealing with your videos. (and every time I hear about ID issues, I just shake my head.) Heres a problem, a foundational BIG PROBLEM. That requires no dangerous bust, etc. Administrative help. But, Jesus, I remember a few years ago renewing my gd license. I collected sh@t over a month. Had every thing on the gd list. Get there, standing in line like I'm waiting for slander. Dudes standing behind the counter, with guns. And the women said I needed some bs out of my cars glove box. The bastard put his hand on his gun.

Typical kid that would sit in his bedroom as a kid and do nothing but play guitar to the point where he became so good at it they wouldn't even let him compete because he was too good and would always win and just a great guy all around. So much potential, his story is a sad one. His brother who played drums in the band he was in also died from a heart attack but more from a broken heart. These poor women (and men) need to be reminded that they are a human being with a soul...and that there is a purpose for them being alive. I’ve noticed that all these men and women don’t blame others for their current situation. I’ve really gotten a lot out of these interviews. I share what I’ve seen with my 19, 20, and 24 year old…hoping to build empathy for people in diverse situations. I’ve been binge watching for a week. I notice there are ups/down for you, Tom. I truly respect the decency you continue to show through your actions I myself would be willing to provide my personal experience through 27 years of living a life as a full blown addict I was up for the ultimate high and i died approximately 10 times just a estimated low side in reality probably double that amount or more. I was so lost I didn't recognize myself in a mirror a stranger to myself hurting and trying to forget by using and on other hand hoping I wouldn't come back and being satisfied with that outcome. So through legal trouble and I mean a rap sheet that is unfathomable to normal society I am a habitual offender as of my last conviction so through a truly amazing and no less than a miracle journey I finally hit my bottom one I could never of thought would present itself actually arrived just in time because truthfully I probably wouldn't be a testament to other like minded souls pushing the limits of a very serious and confused way of life no human being should ever experience. So again I am willing to speak on anything that will maybe help even one soul on that destructive path I have so much experience in that life it truly is unreal so when I see these videos and the help and information you are providing I smile and thank God for those like yourself taking time to show that their are great hearted individuals Angels as I see you we need more like minded souls as yourself this world would be so much better so I commend your work and the compassion you have is amazing if you want to hear my complete life history I welcome you to listen , record, document what ever will help with your journey and maybe it will turn even just one lost soul around thank you for your service and compassion. If i here tom say he isn't a good guy!!!! You are the reason these women are getting any of the things. You brought the attention to them. Most of us would only watch from afar. Scared they may rob us or hurt us. You have shown us they are human. I was an addict for many years with 5 yrs sober and it is hard as hell but I am grateful mine was prescription based and I never got that bad.
