Thank you for updating us on their stories when you find out info ...the good, the bad & the wonderful. I will continue to pray for her & all the other sick & suffering addicts. YOU are making such a positive impact with these people, all we want is to be looked at like we're still human....we're just sick at the moment. I hope this message makes sense because I know I'm jumping from topic to topic but your video's bring me such inspiration......I have a little over 5yrs clean & sober as of May 30, alot of hard work goes into it but it's so worth it. I know Ashley! I met her about 3yrs ago, she was a down to earth woman she had beauty and a glow to her then. She lived in my hometown up north for a few and dated a friend. Who she is probably talking about when she mentions breakup, I’m 19, Oscoda is the small town I’m from and it’s also an environment full of drug addicts, thieves, no jobs, police force who don’t care and super scandalous. The beautiful views of the lake and sunset and hiking trails are deceiving So from the family poverty and horrible drug addiction some of our families may have it impacts our lives mentally and it definitely took a role on miss Ashley’s life, This breaks my heart coming across this video. I am currently laying in bed crying to Jesus to help guide her soul in a safer direction. These streets are not for her. She has a beautiful! Daughter who desperately needs her mama🤕 Goodness lord please help Ashley find peace with in herself and help her be sanctioned in a blessed environment guide her to better herself from the inside out, I know you see our souls ache in sorrow ness God but you need to forgive us and help us through these tramas that we get lost and destructed in Lord this is a cruel cruel world and we need your strength to keep pushing forward Lord Jesus please shine your light to lead us let us gracefully take your hand and help those who are affected by drug addiction I ask you lord to protect these amazing people from the evil and bless them with a new start, in Jesus name AMEN❤️😪 I may have to make a trip to Detroit and find Ashley to pray with her! I promise prayers are everything people, repent and show God you really want to be on his side and he will show you the way your body is a temple and we are letting evil takeover our minds and our innocence we are born pure! Let’s not let evil win! We are so much better than the hurt that is trapped in our minds. Sometimes all it takes is a moment of star gazing and a few prayers, I promise people just leave the drugs alone! -Marissa

I'm new to your channel & find your interviews quite captivating. Regardless of who we are, identifying & trying to relate with society's problems & those going through tough times is a given. It's astounding how women you speak with, who normally are so guarded & frightened, who because of their experiences & circumstances are in danger who cannot trust anyone, all have that moment with you (on camera), where they reveal an honest & deep anguish stemming from their core. The positive & encouraging comments I read is another aspect of optimism these women still hold on to. God bless them for that. Thank YOU for bringing attention to - & helping them this way !

I like the fact that you interview these women. It is important for people to understand what is happening in our city. Many just see the thriving Midtown Detroit area. NEWS FLASH. Most of us don't have the means to live the life Detroit trys to project. A lot of us had crashed n burned during the GreatRecession. Especially those of us ladies that are single n have no other means of support. Keep it real. Offer help n following up with each n every one you interview n offer an alternative. Some may not be ready for REHAB at the time.... but remember ... it is hard for one so INDEPENDENT and strung out , to accept HELP.. KEEP TRYING. NEVER GIVE UP

What keeps people from successfully completing rehab and staying sober is usually going back to the same surroundings, same people, associating with people that have had addictions as well (because putting 2 addicts together is the easiest way to relapse, and also not learning or using new coping mechanisms! I’m a recovering heroin and meth addict and I’ve been sober for almost 9 years and I literally had to change EVERYTHING about my surroundings, my way of thinking, my coping mechanisms, and my impulse control.....but damn it was so worth it!!

Wow.. This breaks my heart. She actually looks like Kirsten Dunst lol... But something happened in her life that just lead her down the wrong path.. She said she doesn't know how to get out of this mess and she really doesn't. Wishing her strength to get clean and become successful in a healthy way for her future and her daughter's future.

Well done Tom hats off good subtle work. Look after yourself. Health and also your own leisure time to switch off and enjoy. V important to hav your own life completely absent from this. That helps in every ways ;-)

Sad. I love that you show these people as human beings. Real people with real problems. Most are good people just very misguided. Not everyone is strong enough to take on the world....

Someone mentioned this the other day. I looked through obits and didn't find anything. I thought she was from up north on the east side of the state. Do you have any details? My condolences. Thanks

She seems like a sweet woman. I really do wish the best for her. I've never done drugs, but I have seen many people on them and whom have gone back and forth to rehab. It's very hard and one reason, I never tried drugs.

The sound of cars moving , and the weeds all around, makes the loneliness more apparent , must be maddening to have to hear all day, when trying to sleep.
