Do you have to remove the engine mounts to remove the oil pan? I don't want to replace mine.

Hi Chris, Great video...I am doing the same job on my X5 E70 (oil pan removal). I noticed you referred to some printed instructions on a paper on your work bench. Where did you find the written instructions? Xoutpost or maybe another site? Please provide LINK or website if possible. Thanks!

Thank you for doing this, trully appreciate it. Do you konw what the rod bearing bolt torque recommendation? What is the part number for the oil pan gasket? What is the part number for the oil pan bolts? Thanks again

I'm not sure on the torque for the rod bearing bolts on the N55 but usually it's a torque sequence, not just a torque spec. I'd grab a shop manual or a copy of ISTA/D to be sure. what frame did you use to support engine , could you please share the link ? If you would do it for 2nd time , i think you would remove the drive shaft and steering rack our of your way ?

The engine support I used was a Astro Pneumatic 5820. Yeah, probably.
