javon hawkins How is it a fact that a LBJ groupie on tv said the Knicks weren’t good, yet those who played against them or watched them closely said they were? Just say you agree with Nick bc he’s a fellow Bron groupie, all of y’all are alike.

@@haezeushawkins436 what facts are you referring to? The Knicks in the early 90's are one of only two teams (the Pacers being the other) to nearly take the Chica Bulls out and took them to game 7. Those are facts. What facts do you have?

Nick Wrong jus hates the fact that MJ is the Goat. He try's everything 2 chip away at his legacy but the fact remains that LBJ could never b the Goat after he choked against a very beatable Dallas Mavz. I mean come on he got outplayed by Jason Terry and J.J Barea u could never b the Goat after that FACE IT!!!!!!!!!!

J Williams Much respect! I totally agree. I've been a fan of Mark Jackson a long time. I love how he built the foundation for my Golden State Warriors. I just wish he could have simply enjoyed the fruits of his labor with at least one of the Warriors championships. It was great to see the Warriors first Championship during this run. I just felt bad for Mark Jackson at the time. He was calling the game at the time and it was cool to see players giving thanks to Coach Jackson after their victory. Give this man a coaching job.

Only the young and stupid would have thought that those teams back then were weak. They were way way better than what is coached today. Top to bottom players that had multiple skills set's, talent across the board. You about to learn some real truth. Michael Jordan faced the very best players in the world, nightly every game. You had to be better than the best in the league. That's why Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player of all times. Proven winners against greatest competitors. Made it the most competitive era in basketball.

Well said only I. don't truly think the documentary conveyed that clearly enough. The nightly grind. I know Jordan got bigger b/c of getting battered by Detroit but your points are very good and are not really driven home in the doc unfortunately.

The 90s Knicks team was no joke. Ewing, Oakley, Mason, Rivers, Starks was a great team. The 92-95 kicks were real contenders for the chip every year. History would be told differently had they won any year in the 90s. I know a lot of people in Chicago who thought 92 and 93 were the year of the Knicks. Not everyone thought the Bulls would pull it off. But at the time, not everyone realized that the GOAT was in Chicago and would dominate that decade.
@petermadash4488
@petermadash4488 4 жыл бұрын
100% agreed. It is a shame that people who were not around at that time look at the names of players and conclude that they were not good enough, forgetting that those guys were playing in a different era with little or no media coverage. Today's players are overexposed hence the ridiculous multi-million dollar contracts they are getting on a regular basis and being labelled "superstars" when some are not.

@eazyduzit-tr3nx
@eazyduzit-tr3nx 4 жыл бұрын
That’s one of the reasons why they’re “great” though, it’s bc you can’t put your hands on them and move their hips where you want them to go. Today’s game is catered to perimeter players, they changed the rules to favor those types due to wanting more offense to draw in fans. They were looking for the next MJ, the league even admitted to wanting more offensive flow, basically cutting out those defenses that was taking over during those early 2000’s.

Previous month I managed to pull my first five figure paycheck ever!!! I've been working for this provider on the web for 24 months now and I never been happier... They are paying me $95 per hour, and the best thing about it is that I am not that tech-savvy, they just required standard awareness of internet and elementary typing skill...Awesome thing about this is that now I have more time for my loved ones. I am able to commit quality time with my relatives and buddies and take care of my children and also going on family vacation with them very frequently. Don't skip this opportunity and make sure to act quick. Here’s what I do *worth48.com*

WASN'T MENTIONED - the whole "they got old" why the Pistons didn't beat the Bulls in the playoffs. Like all of the players got old at the same time? Even though they won through and got to the Bulls in the playoffs. Suddenly, cause the Bulls beat them int he playoffs, THE ONLY REASON they lost to them was "cause they got old".
