we all know he has stats. that's undeniable. that's fine in the regular season. but that kind of me first, let me get my numbers basketball doesn't work in the playoffs. especially when you're inefficient like Russ. Here's the problem, when russ has the ball in his hands and he's not running an offense, the other players cool off. they aren't in rythym because they feel like they aren't part of the action until Russ decides they are. That's why you can't win with a guy dominating the ball like that. the big guys get hype when they get rebounds. but here comes the point guard hanging around the paint, not playing Defense on his guy, so he can get rebounds. it's bigger than just saying "russ plays hard". The impact it has on the team is not the best.

Why are ppl flipping past the fact that you cannot win with Westbrook? Westbrook is an unbelievably fantastic player, filled with energy, work ethic, determination, and so on but he's also a fairly erratic liability. Just last night that loss happened as he basically dragged Washington into a position to win and then left them flat with him taking a 3 he more often than not misses. This is Russell Westbrook's career in a nutshell and why KD left. Imagine dealing with this frustration each and every season as an elite player? Russ is your point guard, he will have the ball in his hands most often than even normal point guards because he also grabs the rebounds. He has learned to pass and increased efficiency but we're heavily overstating Westbrook's greatness by glossing over his liability.

Why does nick need to say “that’s right” between every other sentence Chris says at the start. Just let Chris talk and say that’s right after all of it

harden is a better defender than westbrook. he’s been better since like 2017. and harden is soooo much better overall than westbrook it’s not even funny.

Russ gets the stars because he simply plays harder then everyone for the entire game

I never felt what Brandon brings to First Things First, he always exaggerate someone's points, that's all.

I can't believe Broussard would even consider Westbrook as greater than Baylor, Barkley, or Malone. And Nash went to the conference finals four times.

@shaunphillips32363 жыл бұрын
@@runningsun7268 Russ isn't better than Round Mound, Mail man or Nash. Knock it off. Elgin, maybe. However Nash got to the WCF 4 times without a KD type player

Russ is not better than Malone, Barkley, or Ewing. I’ll say Russ is better than AI and Stockton. I have a harder time with Russ against CP or Nash but I think ultimately I would pick those two over him.

russ is a beast on full court and a liability on half court offense, his efficiency also is way below his productivity.

Teams win rings, Russ’s biggest problem isn’t his game, its his mentality. Maybe Jimmy Butler, but there isn’t many stars in the league who can match his mentality, which is most likely were the issue is.
@Kevinschart3 жыл бұрын
nah his game is a problem too. can't shoot but has not problem taking 40 shots in a game
@emansfield20173 жыл бұрын
@@Kevinschart bruh your a hater man seen you in so many comments 🤣 hella sad. When's the last time he shot even close to 40. Last two seasons he has differed to James harden and beal cuz he knows there the offensive kings. He's been a pure point guard past 2 seasons u can't deny that. With this new style of play starting last year he definitely can win. He just ran into an oversized Lakers team with LeBron and AD, and this year he only has beal. Steph has definitely had more help and injury luck of opponents hence him not winning a finals mvp.

Russ is phenomenal player but he is terrible in the half court offense of a close 4th quarter playoff games.
