Tiger fans deserve a winning team it's disappointing that they haven't spent any money except for Baez. The off season certainly should have brought in a solid bat.

Correct Chris, many other media pundits were acting like Winceel Perez would likely be sent down when players come off IL, nonsense, The Tiger are searching for somebody who can hit. And he has speed and a good glove. As for Tork , hes a guess hitter against high velo, last year he was geting mostly fastballs, not pitchers are flipping breaking balls half the time so his system of sitting fastball isnt working like last year. They are working with Colt Keith, he lost the stupid bat pump , instead is using a bit of a backswing to build some bat speed.

He's done this every single year of his minor league and pro career. If he doesn't start at least looking better in May -- that's when I'd start worrying. If history has told us anything about Torkelson its that he starts slow and then puts on a clinic in July, August, September...
