This one evokes a strange emotion; it's not anger... but, knowing how passionate Chris was about his craft and how he used it to connect with people in an effort to be understood, then to hear the way people carry on while he's trying to share his soul. He said the reason he ended Soundgarden was bc he was afraid it would wind up being a souless commercial spectacle like the band he was opening for at the time - Guns n Roses. He ended Soundgarden because it burned out as a vessel to share what he needed to share. He found a way to share his soul with the universe - through music. Sadness... that's the emotion. Sad that few got this about him.

Your words speak volumes in regards to your respect for artists and passion for the music they create. Thank you for your sentiments, as. your thoughts are filled with a truth I wish many could see. Your reminder of Mr. Cornell's connection between the emotions he felt performing and the crowd reaction is a testiment as to why he is one of the best singers in the History of Music. The lack of connection artists today has created a one hit machine filled with meaningless nothing's that continue to damage and deteriorate the integrity of music industry itself. The weight of my heart fills with joy, for fans like you and myself, that the artist can connect to on such a personal level. My heart also fills with sorrow for Mr. Cornell for "business decisions", or lack there of to be exact, that Euphoria Morking did not get thr publicity, promotion, or acclaim it deserved. The album is one of his greatest pieces of work, in my opinion. Both Mr. Cornell and the Band Eleven made a masterpiece of an album, both willing to and daring to leave their comfort zone to create a unique piece of art. Alain Johannes just had a documentary made about him called "Unfinished Plan", It is highly recommended. I cannot agree with your sentiments regarding the beyond disrespectful individuals that have the audacity to talk loudly, scream, shout, and carry on in any manner that could cause the artist to feel underappreciated or ignored, especially someone as passionate about their craft as Mr. Cornell is. I cannot imagine if the roles were reversed how they would feel. However, in a "me, myself, and I" time period, it appears their are a handful of individuals that respect music as an artform, a singer as a musician, or that at the least still maintain common courtesy in a not so common of worlds. I have thought to myself many times at live events, or while watching videos like these, that their should be a concert ettiqute set of rules the audience must obide by. If the rules reduced such disrespectfull acts of stupidity by 40% I would be ELATED. I only hope Mr. Cornell knows nows the impact he as a person, and he as a musician, had on millions. In closing, I quote Rolling Stone Magazine in regards to their two word spot on review of the self-titled Temple of The Dog album, may Mr. Chris Cornell and his legacy remain "Eternally Immortal."

His ability to relate the darkness and pain this world is filled with and find perfect musical accompaniment to his poetic lyrical representation has been therapeutic to so many grappling with trauma just as Chris was. His ability to convey the emotional shades of light and dark, compassion and the evil of wicked men, lyrically and musically is unmatched, esp when projected to our ears and mind through those pipes sent by angels.

What have you done, my little spark? Cursing my name cause again I put you out Falling apart, you tell yourself you are Dreaming only of the ones who never dream of you I'm your disappearing one Vanish when the curtain's drawn But I will come again, and you will let me in And you'll see I never disappear for long Into your room I stumble now Too tired to cower, and it's too late to draw you out And there you lie like a painting of Christ Bleeding on the heads of the ones who nailed you down I'm your disappearing one Vanish when the curtain's drawn But I will come again, and you will let me in And you'll see I never disappear for long
