I saw him twice live. So for this video. If I was ever going to pay to watch a solo person on stage with a guitar and a mic, no one else would be more perfect than watching Chris. This is true music.

Probably his most honest song. He gets into the groove of the song by the second chorus. You can tell he falls into the song there.

Tisha K. You're face is simply amazing..but yes, he was The Incredible Voice...that control, range, pitch and wicked vibrato, he had it.

This song has great lyrics, and is obviously about depression, which is something Chris Cornell clearly struggled with. artists like this are successful because they are able to write deep, meaningful lyrics. they have a talent for taking their tormented thoughts and ideas and turning into something creative, that means something to people, instead of letting the thoughts overwhelm them. this song is one of my favorites

I went through all the same experimentation as a kid . Hooked up to computers in dark rooms getting frequencies and electric brain stimulation that mom was paid for. It Took a long time to forgive for that and even longer to endure and have stability after the trauma and manipulation and triggers it caused me in my life. I still battle the frequencies that trigger physical and emotional responses but I'm more aware and able to control my reactions today. Go bless you Chris I always loved your music . SOUNDGARDEN RULES

album release: "this is some beatles bullshit written to propel chris further." today: "i was very short-sighted. also, i didn't understand those that come before you so much (or even the full reach of paul and john..). this is an important song. i'm also going to be teaching myself to play this soon. i'm also a drummer trying to elevate myself to playing a song-writing instrument.

Optimistic version- (read bottom) Thank you for a new day For another chance to try Thank you for not asking why Thank you for the pain and grief that brings out delight , yess And thank you, for the small things For another chance to find Thank you for some being kind Not one for giving up i will perpetually, Seek growth , ooh I’m grateful for this life I lead, I’m grateful for the things I own, I’m grateful for the time that I spend all alone I’m grateful for the little things To help guide me through the dawn start to think again it could be much worse It could be much worse man Someone can bring much pain within Do not let them spoil the rest. Thank you from me to you letting bad stuff regress So try to spread some peace and try to spread some warmth, yes I’m grateful for this life I lead, I’m grateful for the things I own, I’m grateful for the time that I spend all alone I’m grateful for the little things To help guide me through the dawn start to think again it could be much worse It could be much worse It could be much worse man Want to help me understand Wanting me to make a plan Trying find some peace and calm To help guide me through the dawn Wishing though I never ran It could be much worse It could be much worse It could be much worse It could be much worse man It could be much worse It could be much worse It could be much worse It could be much worse man It could be much worse It could be much worse (Repeats 3x’s fading away) - Hell0! How’s it going? Hey I’ve been Warzone parodies for awhile. Been switching it up some lately. This is one of those switches. It’s just for fun. The original song is a masterpiece. Mine is just for fun. Hopefully it doesn’t offend you. Not my intentions. Imagine Chris singing it. Or not, regardless. Positive energy, peace and blessings to you! (If you’re going through depression/addiction & Ever want to talk to a rando, I’m here. Not qualified in any way but I can listen and offer my advice or just listen. Lemme know. Peace:)
