Chris Cornell’s Final Show And Night|Fox Theater And MGM Grand Detroit| Soundgarden May 17,2017

In this video, I wander the streets of Detroit, specifically the Foxtown area, as I take you to the Fox Theater, where Chris Cornell and Soundgarden played their final show on May 17, 2017. Then it’s over to the MGM grand hotel and casino where tragically , Chris Cornell took his own life later that night. Chris was a supremely talented musician, whether it be with Soundgarden, AudioSlave, Temple of the Dog, or as a solo act. Scott yet another respectful and extremely touching video which you did so caringly. I have never heard of Chris Cornell or of the band he fronted. So, before i could comment i went on you tube, listened to some of his music plus watched an interview with his video in which she stated chris never expressed or shown any signs that he was continplating suicide. Infact a cocktail of 7 different drugs found in his system which his wife believes contributated to his fath. Its a very difficult situation to determin whether or not he meant to take his own life or the mixture of drugs messing with his mind and causing massive mental health issues its a very hard thing to determin. Im sorry that you have experienced a couple of suicides in your life scott, like you say its hard for the family and friends left behind, youre a real trooper and delt with it over time. You composed yourself so beautifully throuhout the whole video it was so sad and touching🤗🤗👍❤💙

My husband atempted to hang himself a few years ago he struggled badly with issues relating to his childhood so its very frustrating in my opinin not seeing the signs. Hi Scotty. As you know I try and watch all your videos. Didn’t know anything about Chris Cornell but looked into stories about his life and music. He had lots of friends but it seems depression took over and he passed away. I read his widow’s statement to the press. It was so sad but said it all. She also said that she and her family are dedicated to helping others in preventing Chris’s type of tragedy. Such a brave gesture. The look in your eyes made me very sad too and you presented the video with so much respect. Thanks for showing us the Fox Theater and the MGM Grand in Detroit. Beautiful buildings You did make yourself clear Scott that help is available for everyone who needs it. Like you said it is better to celebrate Chris Cornell’s life than dwell in the tragedy of his death. Lots of love from all of us here in Perth. Take care✌🏼

Hi Scott, I want to thank you for sharing this video and by speaking on suicide. I would first like to say I am sorry for the loss you have suffered , For those who have not gone through that loss ( and I pray no one does), It is a nightmare or those in silent pain and for those left behind. My family was affected by this and today is the four year anniversary of this family member's passing, It was also in the same manner as chris's suicide. It hurts like hell, your life comes to a halt for a good while, you try to understand, cope and there are so many damn questions left unanswered. It's a never ending nightmare! When I found out that Chris passed I was a wreck because it brought back this day 4 years ago. He was a huge inspiration to me I grew up with his music and it hurt. Same thing with Chester's death. To anyone out there you are not alone, you have more love and support than you think , you matter and you are a beautiful soul, please do not do this. Call the suicide hotlines where ever in the world you are or text them, death is not the answer please get the help that you need

It's sad that the meds that are supposed to help us... actually can harm us. Depression meds, anxiety meds, even chemo. I'll never be the same because of all the chemo. Of course it saved my life, but all the other things it does is crazy! Thank you for taking us along with you for this sad part of his life. May his family get past the sadness and pain.

Life can be so tough at times My Brother that is why you tell people how you feel about them like I do I have dealt with suicide a couple times and it is with me all the time loosing people to pills and drugs is tough and you my brother are a good man showing your heart to people like this on video. Hey Scott good video brother. This one hit close to home, because a friend of mine committed suicide 3 years ago. She was on a medication where suicidal thoughts was one of the side effects. She, like Chris was not that type of person. She shot herself while sitting at her fathers grave. I believe your question is a fair and honest question. Ive asked it myself. Sarah Matthews I believe the reason is because Johnny Ramone is buried there , right near Chris , and Chris Cornell always stopped by Johnny’s Grave when he was in LA . His wife thought it was a special place for Chris and also because so many music fans visit Los Angeles so she wanted a place where many of his fans can go pay their respects .

If you look back at old videos with Chris he’s talked about suicide openly. He’s even defended it as a “personal decision.” In the grunge world the music was great but it was also depressing and the artists were somewhat broken people. Almost all died of drug overdose or suicide, and if you listen to many of his lyrics there is talk about this. I don’t know, I do think he died by suicide and I don’t think it was because of the “extra Ativan” he took. It was his personal decision, sadly. He was an incredible artist and singer and will be forever missed. #RIPChrisCornell 🙏🏼

I remember watching clips from the last show around 2am. After seeing him perform about a dozen times. He was off the entire show. The question is why?

No body truly always knows what is going on in some ones mind some things you just bury deeper and deeper until you can’t bury it anymore and it come out this way. I don’t think he was murdered but being on prescription drugs can mess you up so horribly I know first hand I was addicted to benzodiazepines and they made me some one else who I have no idea who that person was! I still don't wanna believe he committed suicide. It's just too odd of a coincidence that him and Chester both were working on bringing down some high up ppl that were doing some fucked up shit with kids then they both die from suicide just months apart from each other. I think they may have had some points of depression in their life that would lead you to believe it by some of the songs they wrote, but I just don't know if they would have ever gone through with it. Idk tho. Touchy subject.

Wow that was a very undone video. There is a video with a person going into the MGM and went up to the 11th floor and took pictures of his room that night. The hallway that rounded around to his room on the back of the rooms. Their were no cameras, only a router box above the elevator and Chris' room was at the end of the hall. We have since learned it had a doorway in his room that was a conference room then a door to the room on the other side. Why was Martin not staying in that room. Chris" door was right beside an exit door where anyone could come in and go out and skip the lobby yhe whole time. The exit door led straight outside avaoiding the lobby. So please explain why no cameras as claimed? If so which there wasnt, it wouldn't have showed his room. As to who went in and out. And who had access to the other room between the doors. Anyone could have been hiding in the conference room. It was to easy for someone to get in that middle room and killed Chris and exited out the exit door, never to be seen again. And Martin Kirsten could have let them in as he had a key to Chris' room. And it all went down 1 hour after his show. I appreciate your attempt to show us something. But factually you didnt show anything about the MGM except the lobby. Who cares about the lobby? I have pictures of the floor layout, the router over the elevator. No cameras at all. Chris' room right beside the exit door. Then we learn there was a door in between. I appreciate your help. But Chris did not even have time to rig up such a thing. I dont agree with you. Chris did not commit suicide he was beaten to death and then hung up while Martin waited on them to finish.And they all went out the room through to the other door and thats when the reveal was noticed. Vicky & Martin allegedly had this whole night planned and they succeeded. Vicky was on the phone with the insurance lawyer minutes after he was ruled his death. She is involved in it just as the one who beat Chris to death and then hung him.No band will hung him thats why he was on the floor with blood spatter on the floor and bathtub. CHRIS DID NOT COMMIT SUICIDE. WHY DONT YOU W?QUESTION HIS WIFE? AND MARTIN KIRSTEN A HELL OF ALOT MORE THAN THAT PANSY ASS WEAVER THAT FAILED TO RULE OUT SUICIDE WIYH OUT TAKING CHRIS' THINGS IN TO HOLD AS EVIDENCE? WHY DIDNT WEAVER INVESTIGATE IF IT WAS THE TRUTH WHEN HE ONLY QUESTIONED MARTIN & VICKYS STORIES FOR TRUTH OR MADE UP LIES? WHY DIDN'T WEAVER TURN IN MARTINS FINGER PRINTS AND ALL (VERY FEW) THE TEST OVER TOTHE POLICE DEPARTMENT? THIS BS IS PISSING ME OFF!
