Absolutely heartbroken…..not been this sad since the passing of Michael Jackson….Chris is another voice that this generation has lost…not only one of the most amazing songwriters of our time, but a good person at heart…from iconic rock anthems, to impeccable covers and even a James Bond theme…whatever his voice touched was pure gold…Rest in Peace Chris Cornell…was waiting for the day I could've seen you live :( ...I was spellbound by the Higher Truth album and today it holds a heavy place in my heart. This song is poetry in melody

Russell--maybe it's a good thing you never got to see him live, 28 yrs hes been in my life and I cant count the times ive seen him, just as now I cnnot count how many times a day I have to pick my heart up off the floor and jam it back into my body to breathe... :(

It's always better to have people, especially people as wholly awesome as Chris, than to live afraid of what awaits them eventually. I would've loved to have a chance to meet him. He was and continues to be my favorite singer of all time, with his voice, his lyrics, and his heart.
@mitakuyeoyasin23207 жыл бұрын
I met him a few times, and he was as genuine as they come, and very humble...and sarcastically dry and funny....I truly loved this man, first for his music way bakc in the late 80's and we ( our generation) grew togehter I feel a complete void....at the same time I feel so bleassed to be in his space and time, at the time, together on this planet....altho, I still cry, every. single. day. something new hits me and BAM....

Truth Peace yes he was married, I don't believe happily towards the end. He loved his kids immensely though. I still don't believe the suicide narrative, I haven't from the beginning. Too much evidence and facts ignored and instead finger pointing towards his lyrical content and depression. Chris was a master lyricist who wrote about many things...he was intelligent, deep and expressive. Enough so to be silenced imo.

They had great names (and it's rare) with significant and simple meaning (thanks to Chris) and amazing songs that sounded like no one else. I would love your input on our last video from our first album. It got the attention of one of my heroes Joe Bouchard (ex bass player founding members of BÖC) who is following us on Soundcloud but returns from people who likes same music is always the best. If you have just 3 minutes to listen and a bit more to comment, that would mean the world to me. Keep rockin' : kzbin.info/www/bejne/n2LJh4WNa99mpJY and Happy new year

@dianefiddler98845 жыл бұрын
My loving thoughts that he was living in despair and depression as most musicians are running on a higher level than us. He was on meds and I think it was truly an accident of his lost. The pharmaceuticals were wrong in loading the pharmacy with opioids and other heavy duty uppers to lift the spirits of the innocent. His song “Scream” and “Murder Of Blue Skies” tell his truths of his inner most feelings. He needed Love and Understanding!!! He was a Great Man who was misunderstood. This World Mourns His Tragic Lost Forevermore. I listen to him everyday and cry to some of his songs. We will never get over His Lost. Such a Wonderful Musician gave us the Very Best Of Himself ending my cries of missing Him on a High Note 🎵🎶🎤🤟🏻💋❤️🥰
