I’m putting this out there, Chris Harris is the best presenter the “new” top gear has had so far, I don’t think anyone can replace the original trio but the current trio are doing very well. But Chris is by far the best, doesn’t have to try hard, love the laid back, down to earth person that Chris is!

Harris is great but I honestly can't stand the other two. Disliked them before Top Gear and I've seen nothing to change my mind. BBC have always got to go for the standard "jobs for the boys" instead of someone new. Fitting that the best ones have been Harris and Reid who came from KZbin.

I think that's because he's an actual motoring journalist. The original trio were all motoring journalists and good at presenting, then it turned out they all had amazing chemistry. It was a perfect match that is hard to replicate but it helps if they know their stuff.

I was lucky enough to share a car with Chris in the Britcar 24hrs at Silverstone in 2007. He was great for team morale and just being an all-round top bloke! Not to mention being both quick and mechanically sympathetic on the car. Love the Car Throttle team! Good work lads 👍👍👍

The jazz fuel cap story reminds me of me and my dad spending a solid day taking apart the rear window on our truck to find out whats wrong with it, seeing everything works and being confused, putting a black bag on it before we went on holiday and then the first time we drove it afterwards, I tried to open one of the windows, to then realise the rear window was stuck because we left the window lock on

You're just missing out to be honest. Some of the things they have done since have been genuinely funny like it was with the old boys. I loved old top gear as much as the next guy but they were getting far too old for what they were doing. Chris Evans reign was shite there's no denying that but ultimately whoever stepped in immediately after the trio was never in for a good time so he did a favour for the show all things considered, it's much better than it was then.
