Chris Kattan says one 2001 skit on “Saturday Night Live” changed his life forever. In the skit, a spoof of “The Golden Girls,” Kattan choked on cheesecake and threw himself backward, hitting the ground hard. Kattan knew right away the injury was something serious but said he kept it to himself because he feared the repercussions for his career. “I went backward on my chair to sell it and I really put myself into the character,” he told Inside Edition. #InsideEdition

I got addicted to pain pills after a kidney stone surgery… they took over my life and I was poor without the ability to afford it. I can’t imagine working on a show like SNL where presumably not only could he afford it, but I would guess he was introduced people who could always get them for him… *So from his perspective, what incentive was there to ever quit or to ever seek help???* It’s easy to look down on people and impossible to know what they’re actually going through. Great comment *GRIGSY* … We need more people like you. PS This year it’ll be 4 years since my last pain pill. 😃

Ugh Rick Moranis is also a bad story. His wife passed away and they have kids and he was never around always making movies. So he quit to raise his kids. He has refused work still to this day. He was the man and will always be top3 for me just because of Dark Helmet (Honey and Little shop don't hurt) Edit as I looked him up it was recently confirmed that after a 23 year hiatus he will appear in a new Honey I shrunk the kids movie. While I think it sounds like a terrible idea I will pay to support him in any film

Unfortunately, the movie tanked. After the disappointing box office, there was one Butabi Brothers sketch, then Lorne Michaels pulled the characters from the show. He did that with other characters when their movies tanked. Julia Sweeny's "Pat," Molly Shannon's "Mary Catherine Gallegher," Tim Meadows' "The Ladies' Man," etc.
