The more I hear from and about him, the more I feel he is an amazing person and speaks an awful lot of sense.

Just a lucky barsteward from a well off background. He is very prosperous, and has got to do a career most of us can only dream of.

Chris, you're a national treasure mate.

You mean if hypocrisy was gold... I suppose his cobalt (Mined for by children) phone has a Bakelite casing, or is it made from petrochemicals? What about the twelve diesel burning generators used for filming spring/summer/autumn/winter watch... Has he jumped on a plane in the last six months? Does he still live so deep into the countryside that only trees can be seen on the horizon? I can only look down on his "Do as I say" consumerism using his own self serving barometer.

@@stephenmcdonagh2795 What a profoundly ignorant comment. The benefits of influencing the world as he does far outweighs the costs. Chris Packham is one of the most prolific figures on the planet regarding conservation, animal rights, veganism, and autism awareness. He has partnered with numerous organisations, including as current president of the RSPCA and vice-president of the RSPB, and uses his platform to drive donations to their campaigns to educate the public and fund much-needed protections. He is also the Ambassador for the National Autistic Society. Do you seriously imagine his television crew consumes greater resources than the support for world issues garnered by the programmes he presents? The inspiration he gives children to grow up and become environmental advocates themselves? Do you think he could work as effectively if he lived in a mud hut without electricity and running water? His time is extremely valuable. His costs are an investment. If anything, he should be getting more resources. What are you doing, with your tiny sphere of influence? Projecting negativity on the internet about objectively good things because you're cynical and don't understand? Aren't you great.

I absolutely admire Chris Packham's knowledge, talent and his willingness to stand up for what is right. I'm from central Europe, not from the UK, but I watch his work from here and I totally agree with all of it. Keep it up Chris.

You shouldn't be having to put up with all the trolls and the bad when all you are doing is good. I too am autistic (self diagnosed (at the moment) with neurodiverse children. I'm glad you are still here your work is soo valid. 😊

It’s absurd to say he has no empathy. Look at that huge sigh when he knows declining the wedding invitation disappointed his girlfriend. And the fact that he didn’t commit suicide because he didn’t want to let his dogs down. In both instances he clearly ‘felt with’ the other, which is the definition of empathy.

He's actually a grifter. He groundlessly regards himself as disabled. He co-opts the difficulties that poorer less fortunate, or more disabled, people have.
