if you want to compare stuff and find out whats best for you, find a pair of trucks you really like then find a wb you like with those trucks and youll be more consistant with your tricks and youll be able to progress easier and faster. you keep changing you setups wb and that just throws off your flick for any trick.

The main thing I had to get used to what the flatness of the board. Probably the flattest board I’ve skated in a while
@localjoe3 жыл бұрын
yeah I was surprised as well
@jouhajohnny3 жыл бұрын
I feel you it felt weird but I got used to it pretty fast because last board was a Ishod twin tail that was stack IV board
@jetwork1313 жыл бұрын
@@jouhajohnny what’s a stack IV? I actually have the ishod one as a cruiser so idk how it SKATES skates
@reup40233 жыл бұрын
@@jetwork131 Real/Krooked boards are pressed in stacks of 4, they're marked with Roman numerals to show where the board was in the stack. A I would generally be steeper on concave/kicks and a IV more mellow. Ben Degros discusses it here, applies to boards within the DLXSF family... kzbin.info/www/bejne/rHLSn4isgrKCr9E

As a current twin nose addict, I suggest snagging a few of whichever one you prefer so you don't suffer withdrawal when they sell out and don't come back in stock for months, lol.

Man that totally happened to me with Neen’s twins!!!! I went through total withdrawal
@hksolventless92603 жыл бұрын
@@Craven1 lol, those are the ones I skate too. I bought like 15 of the 8.5's when the pandemic started. Everyone else was stockpiling toilet paper and I was stacking up twin noses, haha

I may be completely wrong, but I think most of the veneer sizes manufacturers use are 1/20th and 1/16th. The veneers may be 1/16th on it which would explain the thickness. While heavier, it should last alot longer. I believe Life Skateboards use 1/16th veneers.
@localjoe3 жыл бұрын
that would make sense i've never heard that before!
@coleytownson6533 жыл бұрын
@@localjoe I think the most common is 1/20th but I believe it was a Ben Degros review of Life that I watched where he talked about the veneer sizes and how much thicker it was. So I figured it was probably the same. Love your videos man. Sincerely. Keep the stoke going bro.

Get Skinnier and smaller wheels on the slappy board like some 52 f4 classics or something even skinnier like bones v3 it will help a lot

Love what you are doing with the channel. You are keeping it real. Mine as arrived‼️ ohhhh man does the shape look good. I going to go with thunder and bones OG 100s I think. My Isod has Indy and Orbs wheels on it. It will be fun to compare the two. I have Brand X Toxic for my dedicated slappy board. I didn't know Foy came out with a twin. Definitely interested in your opinion of it. Stay Rad Sir.
