This movie documents Chris Rusch's Hot Rod build over a 4 day period late in 2014. All tube chassis fabrication, metal shaping, bead rolling, shrinking and stretching, grinding, shearing and bending of the metal was performed on Baileigh industrial equipment. The incredibly talented group of builders include Chris Rusch, Jimmy Shine, Bob Bleed, Mike Wagner, Kyle Yocum, Chris Pribbernow, Troy Temme, Dylon Rusch and Mark Gerish. Filmed by Shane Henderson

This build certainly brings back memories, 16-17 years old, 1966 Build on original frame, boxed, '46 front hydralic brakes, Ford Detroit Locker 5.13's or something. 1931 Ford 2 door sedan, chopped, channeled, 392 cu in Hemi (300D Chrysler), 2 fours, solids, tube headers,,,, was a wonderful learning event 1960's style.

It has to be intense to work there to meet the dead line's. I'm shire if someone got just trying to stand around and not looking busy they won't last long in a high ends Hot Rod Shop. I worked in a body mechanic shop in the bay area of California. I must have seen 5 guys come and go in one month they couldn't handle the work and the boss that was running the body shop like clock work. The Car's and truck's that came out of his shop looked show and go ready. It's nothing like what they show on T.V. and video's. Even I got from under working for someone else I got burnt out from having to have a car done by a. Certain time everyone depending on a certain part of the puzzle to be done.

It's hardly difficult to make a rod when you got all the top of the range equipment ,and a budget that looks like a phone number! A lot of rods were built with a hacksaw, files,a hammer and a stump of wood! I dream of even just having access to kit like that, has to be every rod enthusiasts dream!

Andrew Wilson Still isn't exactly easy to build... for one, you've gotta have the talent and/or skill to use the equipment at the level those guys do. The vision to make it all come together the way this one did. And the determination to do it in the time frame they did. Don't try to take that away from them. This is one hell of a build on a damned short timeline.

+DrNephilim666 The tools were not free, the guys were allowed to use the tools at RMD to build this car. I do not believe that is a V10. This was a very talented group of artists that came together to construct another persons vision in a very short time period. A true labor of love. Work hard, make smart choices, have a realistic vision and you too can have tools and a custom car.
