Super religious people spook me too fam. I'm religious myself and believe all the Noah's Ark and Adam and Eve junk. I get that some things are figurative and some things aren't but sometimes it's hard to figure that shit out cause of the years of monks not knowing how to read and taking the Bible from one language to another. Honestly it's mostly just morals and stuff for the most part. Don't be a dick to your family/people in general. That kinda stuff. The Bible is supposed to be about forgiveness and respect and love but a lot of people (especially those in Christianity itself) tend to not follow it. The Bible is meant to be interpreted but the number one message is about that forgiveness stuff ya? Like, there are homosexual Christian's like me and several others. Some Christian's think it's a sin, some think just the act of having sex without the means of reproduction is a sin, some think it's natural because God made us this way. I personally think it's because God made me this way.

It's not that non-believers can't be moral. It shouldn't take a genius to figure out that hurting others for no reason is morally incorrect. The problem is that they can't *justify* why some things are 'good' and why some things are 'bad'.

It's pretty much an agreed upon concept that without divine authority, all morality is relative, which is where the "non-religious people are immoral" argument comes from. If you disagree, let me point you in the direction of eugenics, which is an atheist belief in the morality of forced sterilization and proactive culling of children with defects or abnormalities.

I don't think it ever specified whether the animals in noah's ark were caged or not. People just assumed they ran freee. That and there is of course the obvious answer of the tale being passed on so many times the original message or even story mutates or is forgotten, like the telephone game. Like modern Christianity has all but forgotten about who lilith is or what angels were supposed to look like.

I always thought of God not as a guy who chills out in the sky and sets shit on fire for fun, but as a general sense and feeling of direction, or instinct. I'm skeptical of many Bible stories, but in the end I believe they are meant to be interpreted, and what you see in it is your religion. I believe in a grand designer who does all the things people can't understand, and is not a person, But a feeling
