Hi Guys, I appreciate this frank talk about making TEAM bowling more popular. Of course, each TEAM having a charismatic star will draw in more viewers and please the SPONSORS too. So, Belmo, EJ, Troup, Simo are the top dogs but a Brad and Kyle Team, House Team, Euro teams, Australian Team, East Coast, MidWest, NorthWest, PBA 50 teams might draw more interest ? The Prize fund motivation is important too. Keep the ideas and conversations coming ! Thanks !!!

I totally agree about the elite league being some of the best and most entertaining bowling out there and I'd love to see it get more popular and expand. It's tough to keep up when only a couple matches are even televised, so more Saturday shows would be awesome. Regarding wearing apparel and promoting it at local leagues: I loved that idea and decided to check out the store.....which is when I found out that the team jerseys (with no player name on them) is $110!!! I could get a Steph Curry Jersey for $10 more. And the $30 team shirt is just a plain T-shirt with a small team logo on the front. If the PBA wants to drum up some hype for the league, they gotta be more realistic about their current popularity and curve the cost accordingly.

Team bowling is the future of the sport. Bowling should be like football, basketball, or baseball. Regional teams competing for fans. Individual play should be the pinnacle fo the sport, like Allstar play.

Here’s the problem with the PBA…why is there always a different kind of format each year for like stepladder formats and WSOB? There’s no consistency in each year. Tweak a little at a time, but not totally revamp it. It’s hurting its own products
