Sweet video, great recommendations. I noticed you're using a matte anti-glare screen protector, would you mind linking it so that I can pick one up? I have yet to find one that I like but yours looks awesome.

@gregabelllera99212 ай бұрын
Your video was very informative.Thank you for that. One of the things I would add is that the first thing I did was pretty much the first thing you talked about and that was to add an X pipe. Very happy with that mod.The second thing I did was will actually. along with the first thing, was I had the car lowered. Now I did use the Ebach springs that were lowering Springs for the GT 350 that share the same magneride suspension as the performance pack mustang that I bought. However, I find that the lowering Springs tend to diminish The Life expectancy of the magneride shocks. Why that is??? I don't know. But I do know I've already gone through one set of shocks, and even though I do a lot of daily driving across my city los angeles, from various areas like burbank to To Sun Valley and places like that. I've actually put over a hundred and sixteen thousand miles on my car. And it's a twenty eighteen. But I find those 2 modifications along with the tenti of the windows and the intake is pretty much. All you need to be very relevant in the speed category. Once you understand that there are people who have saved money faster than you have or have more disposable cash than maybe you do, and they've done things like supercharged their car and did all kind of extra stuff. I know one guy is getting 1100 almost 1200 horse power out of his 2020. Mustang GT. But he dropped a pretty penny to do all of that, and blew one motor once already. So you have to get a beefed up bottom end and all that stuff. I'm not trying to go down that road anymore, 😂😂😂

I'm in between the steeda dual rate springs or the ford performance springs not sure how much of a performance difference there is between the 2 or if it's not noticeable. I do plan on tracking my car.
@therealcervenka2 ай бұрын
@@renetrevino2080 The difference is quite noticeable. The Ford Performance Springs are a mild upgrade over the factory springs that will offer a slight drop and some increase in track performance. The Dual Rates are engineered for track use first with street manners in mind. I’ve driven and raced on both springs - you won’t be disappointed with the Dual Rates. Hope that helps!

Hey Chris, I just bought my first Mustang ever and I am very happy. I bought some eibach pro-kit lowering springs for 2024 GT w/ magneride. I saw you mentioned the camber plates, would you recommend for my specific car / setup?
@therealcervenka2 ай бұрын
Hey there! Yes, if you lower your car, you should definitely get something to adjust the camber up front to your desired alignment specs. Camber bolts are an option if your car is only street driven. If you plan to do any type of performance driving, I highly recommend Camber Plates. There are plenty of reputable brands out there who make great camber plates for these cars. Steeda and Maximum Motorsports are two, Vorshlag is another. If you have any questions - don't hesitate to ask! Have fun!

I'm curious if you got mag ride spacers that work with the camber plates for the lowering springs in the front. It seems like those springs just lower the S650 too far. I plan on putting 275/305 on my GT performance pack before the whipple insllationl (which will add more weight to the front, of course), and I am afraid of rubbing issues. I want to do this right the first time and I do not like wheel spacers.
@therealcervenka2 ай бұрын
Spring Spacers are always an option up front if you feel the springs lower the car just a bit too much.

Hi Chris, I love your videos. I recently made my first 2024 Ford Mustang Vapor Blue GT performance night pony without MagnaRide suspension. I'm interested in all the Mods but I'm new to the game and don't want to make buying decisions that I'll regret. What should I do about my suspension? Can I upgrade to a MagnaRide? should I do a AirRide Suspension? Being I have the performance Package is buying a Steeda Suspension Package just repeating what I have already purchased from Ford? Please get back to me becasue I trust that you know your business. Thanks Rob.
@therealcervenka2 ай бұрын
Hey there! Congrats on the new ride - you’re gonna love it. You can’t upgrade to MagneRide without A LOT of work. Simply not worth it. Air Ride is great for looks, so-so for performance. Is recommend a good set of performance lowering springs and high quality aftermarket shocks. If you are a backroads guy and want a set it and forget it setup, Steeda or KONI non-adjustable shocks and progressive springs. You want more customization, then adjustable shocks and perhaps the Dual Rates if you’re a corner carver. Always recommend camber plates to go along with lowering springs and perhaps a Stop The Hop starter kit as well. Hope this all helps!

I bought a s650 GT PP+Magnaride, race red, NPP, AVE, 401A, but it's a convertible. I feel like I made a mistake, top down is fun but I'm kind of over it. I feel like I'm losing the better handling the coupe provides. Am I right or do they actually run similar? Please let me know what u think, as I'm considering trading it in for the exact same car, but in a coupe this time. I'll lose some money, so I'd really like your opinion
@therealcervenka2 ай бұрын
Sorry, I missed this comment. In all honesty, just get what you enjoy! With the right chassis modifications, a convertible can handle just as well as a coupe. Yes, there's a bit more rigidity in the coupes, but you'll be fine with what you've got. Add some additional bracing underneath like a Steeda G-Trac Brace and IRS Subframe Braces in the rear and you'll gain some of that rigidity back. Keep in mind if you add the subframe braces, you'll need to remove the OE convertible bracing - but that allows you to run a 3" exhaust 😄 Hope this helps!

Nice video! Do you have advice for EU Mustangs, they have GPF filter and they are detuned, can it be removed? Also tints are not allowed by law, and usually intakes are not so functional without tune (sometimes they show worse HP), maybe just removing carbon traps is ok?
@gorgik2 ай бұрын
and what is your opinion about Stop the Hop kit? is it helpful or it will ruin every day drivability?
@therealcervenka2 ай бұрын
I can’t speak for much on the EU cars. I did remove the carbon traps and it did not trip an active CEL, but I did get a passive one. For now, I’d just be patient. Whether Ford comes out with a new cal or the aftermarket cracks the code, I hope there will be more options soon. Admittedly, headers pick up quite a few horsepower 👀
