Will be making the pies for the holidays. However will not use salt or flour. Pies for years /and years back in the day grand parents and moms never added salt or flour and the pies were delicious. But thank you for the advice for peeling; now I know how to peel the potatoes in lieu of using my hands peeling hot potatoes . Thank you! 👍💝.

Hi Chris, use an immersion blender to purée the strings along with the sweet potatoes. It’s much easier, and makes a smooth pie, no lumps no strings quickly.

I really appreciate you helping people learn how to make sweet potato pies, but when I make sweet potato pies I don't have to remove the strings which is a lot of the potatoes and it's fiber, so when I process them in the food processor I get all of my potatoes and it's fiber, I learned this from a KZbin tutorial and it comes out very creamy and all of the potatoes in tact , but thanks for yr recipes I've used and watched many of your videos, keep up the good work helping people 👩🏼🦳🙋🏼👍
