Best recipe for hush puppies that I've seen on here thank you for making the batter thick enough Because I've watched several videos and their batter was so thin I could not take it I wanted to jump through the screen and say add some more cornmeal please..lol.. Hi Chris! You’re right about not cracking your eggs into the ingredients because the eggs could be bad and for me I take out the biddy(the white embryo attached to the yolk) also the shells could break into the mix.❤️😃

As long as you want. But after a while the ingredients will start to swell and you may need to add more liquids.
