FYI, We're not haters. We want Ange to succeed, we just want to see consistency. Today was amazing, but if our form this season is anything to go by, we're on track for a home defeat against Fulham next week. Look, the two notable things with Spurs today were the opportunistic long balls and letting go of the high press - both only at times, not throughout the game - but is enough to confuse / surprise the opponent and to manage the game when in the lead so that you don't play every minute on a knife's edge. This is what Ange needs to do more - respect your opponents and adjust your game from time to time

Without wishing to pour cold water over everything, city had their two best players, Rodrigo and Kovacic, as well as Doku missing. They would all easily get into the Spurs side. Had they played, even with Romero and VdV back, I think the result would have been very different. Back to earth, let's see how they fare against Fulham. Can't say I'm confident.

We do well against City because they dont sit behind the ball in a low block. The teams that do, allowing us all the possession, always hit us on the break.. The real test is not going toe to toe with Liverpool, Arsenal, City, Chelsea etc.. we can obviously out play them, its the teams that set out to defend and counter attack.. in these games we need to be able to move the ball a lot quicker and take players on, get tight defences out of position etc... something we've not been great at doing
