I love virtual soundchecks. But one thing you always have to consider is the amount of stage-volume coming back from amps, cabs, drums and wedges

That’s why the master volume is lower on the meters. Can adjust where needed but as far as EQ-Comp-verb go, definitely sounding better than it did during the show this was recorded at.

I think you have a very nice mix. The one huge thing about the wing is that the effect sounds so much better than the X 32.

It’s a night and day difference. I don’t have to push the EQ/comp/effects as hard on the Wing.

I’m keeping the console. Probably not using it full time at the venue because the owner wants me to use the console he bought.

Hey chris I’m on an email with a guy from behringer . I was having the same problem with the main/alt not working and if you go to the set up menu and pick audio you’re gonna see the main alt button but then you have the channel box below it and if you tap on that it’ll give you a new window and you have to turn on the global input select enable . tap on them they will turn gold and then when you use the main/alt button they will all go to alt the problem is you lose your naming on a scribble strip so I’m going back-and-forth with him now to try to solve some more problems I will keep you updated

Did that. Didnt work. You still had to click each channel individually to switch to alt. I want to hit alt once and ALL of my channels switch to alt. I barely use this feature so I don’t really mind manually switching every channel.

@ I’m not updated but I’m seeing bugs for version 3 so I’m not updating anytime soon. Console works flawlessly

@ well maybe that makes a difference maybe it doesn’t have a lot of people on 3.05 which is the latest and the firmware seems to be great with a lot of new options the only thing I can tell you if you are below version three then you have to initializer Bored after updating to fix the fader problem but that’s it but I’ll try to pass on any good information I get lol

Does the Wing flip Gain to Trim during playback? That fooled me once on the X32.. The live card is the best add-on, hands down. I use it all the time. Beeing able to additionally run Dante or Waves is crazy cool. Great console. I wished the Wing Compact came out 3 years earlier - now I'll have to live with the X32..🙄

wouldn't work at the last place I was at. The stage volume was so loud so I could turn down the PA and it hardly made any difference.. :)

Finally x32 has its worthy successor. Personally I don't like compact and rack versions - I prefer full console version. Nice minimalist look, great possibilities at a reasonable price. M32 can now hide.

The full size Wing is too big and I would take the more compact size at the cost of having to navigate a few more sub menus. Plus, more local inputs are much more welcomed and it expands the capability. The X32 can finally retire. If only my venue owner can agree with me 😅

I have the same. I have m32 and x32 compact but I can only dream about wing😅 We bought M and a year later wing came in. And now how it looks... amazing

Cage The Animal was way better remixed...guitar was still too quiet...that band has potential when they tighten up and the quitarist tunes up..... Thanks again... The gates on the drums may be a little much...if it's Addicted To Love by Robert Palmer I can see it...they almost sounded electronic...

Have to take into account for stage volume. A lot of the guitar sound comes from the amp blasting.
